Publication number: 20230049849Abstract: Patient sleep is staged using personalized circadian models built with data collected by wearable devices over daytime and nighttime hours, thus capturing a patient's personal circadian rhythms. The circadian model is used to identify sleep intervals in incoming nightly data for the patient. The identified sleep intervals are analyzed by the machine learning system which stages epochs of sleep. Methods include receiving patient heart rate data from over a plurality of circadian cycles; creating a circadian model for the patient with a defined operation for applying sleep labels to new data from the wearable device; applying the circadian model to nightly test data from the device to identify a sleep interval; and assigning, with a classifier, sleep stages to epochs of the sleep interval.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 11, 2022Publication date: February 16, 2023Inventors: Anusha Viddam, Hedyeh Agheh Kholerdi, Srikanth Tummala

Publication number: 20230049642Abstract: The invention provides systems and methods that stage sleep in patients using wearable devices regardless of the brand or features of the wearable device. Data collected from wearable devices are assigned a sleep stage regardless of manufacture or mode of operation. Methods provide precise and accurate sleep stage information to physicians via an online portal of the system, offering patients suffering from poor sleep opportunities for better medical outcomes. Methods include preprocessing data for a subject from a first sensor on a first wearable device; based on a type of the wearable device into standardized data and analyzing the standardized to identify sleep stages. Second data from a second wearable device with different formats or different content is also preprocessed a format matching that of the standardized data.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 11, 2022Publication date: February 16, 2023Inventors: Anusha Viddam, Hedyeh Agheh Kholerdi, Srikanth Tummala

Patent number: 11274582Abstract: A flow hood assembly for an engine aftertreatment system having a particulate filter and a selective catalytic reduction device is disclosed. An outer case defines a cavity, the outer case having an inlet and an outlet formed therein, and a neck section formed between the inlet and the outlet. A socket in the outer case is in an opposed relationship to the outlet and is shaped to receive an injector that introduces a reducing agent into the flow of exhaust gases. A baffle reduces a cross-sectional area of the cavity at the neck section to increase exhaust gas velocity at a sensor positioned at the neck section. A deflector member in the cavity between the baffle and the socket directs a portion of the exhaust gases towards the socket and across the injector nozzle.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2017Date of Patent: March 15, 2022Assignee: Perkins Engines Company LimitedInventors: Richard Pill, Andrew Keen, Srikanth Tummala, Susannah Freeman, Venkata Sirisha Inkollu, Sean Butler

Patent number: 11162401Abstract: A flowhood assembly 1 comprises an injector 30 which is fixable to a mount 50 in a number of alternative mounted positions defined by rotation of the injector about an injection axis X2 relative to the mount. The injector 30 includes one or more coolant ports 34, 35 which are connected in use to a supply of liquid coolant C. The mount 50 is fixable to a flowhood 10 in an upright, design orientation and in alternative connected positions defined by rotation of the flowhood 10 relative to the mount 50 about a connection axis X1. In a normal use position of the assembly the connection axis X1 of the flowhood is arranged at a predefined angle, optionally 0°, relative to a nominal horizontal plane P1. The injector 30 is not fixable to the mount 50 other than in the alternative mounted positions.Type: GrantFiled: January 8, 2019Date of Patent: November 2, 2021Assignee: Perkins Engines Company LimitedInventors: Richard Pill, Srikanth Tummala

The exhaust mixer apparatus comprises an exhaust conduit, a first exhaust mixer and a second exhaust mixer. The exhaust conduit is configured to extend in an elongate direction comprising an inlet and an outlet for transporting exhaust fluid. The first exhaust mixer comprises a plurality of elongate mixing blades each having a length extending in the elongate direction. The elongate mixing blades are connected together along at least part of their lengths and arranged about the elongate direction, each elongate mixing blade comprising an outer edge extending in the elongate direction. The elongate mixing blades are twisted along their lengths such that the outer edge of each elongate mixing blade is rotated about the elongate direction. The exhaust conduit is configured to locate the first exhaust mixer in an upstream location of the exhaust conduit.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 15, 2019Publication date: September 23, 2021Applicant: Perkins Engines Company LimitedInventors: Mark ALDRED, Andrew HOWELL, Naseer NIAZ, Srikanth TUMMALA, Jean-Yves TILLIER, Mathew JOHNSON, Edward Long, Paul Gaynor
