Abstract: In an example, a method may include receiving, by a patient consultation device, a session request from a provider consultation device; determining, by the patient consultation device, whether the received session request is authenticated; in response to a determination that the received session request is authenticated, the patient consultation device establishing a consultation session with the provider consultation device; receiving, by the patient consultation device, an activation request from the provider consultation device; and in response to a receipt of the activation command from the provider consultation device, the patient consultation device activating a stethoscopic microphone.
