  • Publication number: 20230077941
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for selecting a path in a communication network. The method comprises transmitting, through a device connected to a target node, a beacon, to one or more nodes in the communication network. The beacon comprises a set of informative parameters. The method comprises calculating, by each node, a selective score towards one more paths to be selected for reaching the target node in the communication network. The method further comprises identifying, by each node, a target path from the one or more path. The target path is a path having a highest value of the selective score as compared to selective score for other paths in the one or more paths. The method further comprises selecting, by each node, the target path from the one or more paths for reaching the target node.

  • Publication number: 20200383001
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and method for steeling one or more client devices with a non-weak link in a network. The method comprises identifying, a subset of nodes from a set of nodes in the communication network and each subset of nodes is having a set of client devices connected to the subset of nodes. Data is then received from each client device in the set of client wireless devices associated with each subset of nodes. One or more client devices with a non-weak link are identified in each subset of nodes, with a respective parent node of each of the client device. Each of the client device with the non-weak link are then steered based on one or more parameters identified in the data associated with the client device with the non-weak link. The steering is performed towards a root node.

  • Publication number: 20150372709
Abstract: A wireless device operates as both a station and one or more access points. In the wireless device, a scan window of a specified duration is requested to start at a first time, to scan for access points external to the wireless device in accordance with operation of the wireless device as a station. It is determined that a beacon scheduled for transmission or reception at a second time conflicts with the requested scan window. In response, the beacon is transmitted or received at the second time and at least a portion of the scan window is delayed until after the beacon has been transmitted or received.

  • Publication number: 20140254565
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for enhancing the concurrency of a wireless device operating in multiple network contexts. At least one virtual interface may be implemented for each network context. A recurring communication event having a defined interval associated with one of the network contexts may be identified and the interval may be time divided into multiple operation periods, such that each operation period corresponds to one of the virtual interfaces. Accordingly, each virtual interface may be given access to the physical transceiver during the corresponding operation period. As desired, the operation periods may be subdivided into one or more slots, which may be associated with different priorities of communication.
