  • Patent number: 11937201
Abstract: A system having a processor configured for executing computer-executable instructions for deregistering a user equipment (UE) during a transition between a first mobile domain and a second mobile domain. A data store is paired with the processor being configured for storing UE data, the UE data comprising one or more of the following: customer profile information, customer authentication information, and encryption keys for the information. A connection controller is configured for managing all connection and session related information from the UE. Upon detecting the UE is transitioned from the first mobile domain to the second mobile domain, the processor is configured to send a data packet to the connection controller to deregister the UE. Absent a confirmation message from the connection controller, the processor is configured to deregister the UE.

  • Publication number: 20230354005
Abstract: A wireless communication network transfers a data message to a User Equipment (UE). A wireless network control system registers the UE, and in response, transfers a UE registration notice for the UE and the wireless network control system to a wireless network database system. The wireless network database system receives the UE registration notice, and in response, transfers the UE registration notice to a message center. The message center receives the UE registration notice. The message center receives the data message for the UE, and in response, transfers the data message to the wireless network control system based on the UE registration notice. The wireless network control system receives the data message, and in response, transfers the data message to the UE.

  • Patent number: 11805402
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for protecting a user data repository (UDR) from over-accumulation of subscription requests in a subscriber profile of a subscriber of a 5G network may include receiving, from a network node on the 5G network, a new subscription request requesting a notification of status changes associated with the subscriber profile, retrieving the subscription profile from the UDR, and determining a number of preexisting subscription requests associated with a network function (NF) instance identification (ID) of the network node in the subscriber profile. If the number of preexisting subscription requests in the subscriber profile is equal to or greater than a predetermined value (X), the computer-implemented method may further include deleting at least one of the preexisting subscription requests from the subscriber profile and writing the new subscription request to the subscriber profile at the UDR.

  • Patent number: 11762494
Abstract: A system and method for identifying a user of a device includes comparing audio received by a device with acoustic fingerprint information to identify a user of the device. Image data, video data and other data may also be used in the identification of the user. Once the user is identified, operation of the device may be customized based on the user. Further, once the user is identified, data can be associated with the user, for example, usage data, location data, gender data, age data, dominant hand data of the user, and other data. This data can then be used to further customize the operation of the device to the specific user.

  • Patent number: 11540243
Abstract: Techniques for optimizing terminating access domain selection (TADS) flow for a Fifth Generation (5G) standalone (SA) capable interworking device with legacy Fourth Generation (4G) voice over long term evolution (VoLTE) network are discussed herein. A 5G SA capable user equipment (UE) may receive a voice call from any generation network. To receive a 5G voice call on an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network, a terminating UE must be currently connected to a 5G SA network. However, the system has to determine the currently connected radio access technology (RAT) type before establishing a connection; otherwise, attempts to establish a 5G NR connection would result in network call completion errors. The system may configure a home subscriber server to receive a TADS request for the terminating UE and return a TADS status.

  • Publication number: 20220191758
Abstract: Systems, devices, and techniques described herein relate to returning to a cellular network (e.g., a 5th generation (5G) Radio Access Network (RAN)) after fallback to a different cellular network (e.g., a 4th generation (4G) RAN). In some examples, a first network, such as a 5G RAN may not be capable of providing a requested service to a User Equipment (UE), such as a voice call. To provide the requested service, the UE may be temporarily connected to a second network, such as a 4G LTE network. Instead of waiting to return to the 5G network when the UE becomes idle, the UE is returned to the 5G network upon the call ending and the UE having 5G coverage.

  • Patent number: 11225433
Abstract: A sintered machinable glass-ceramic is provided. The machinable glass-ceramic is formed by mixing phyllosilicate material having a sheet structure, with a glass fit and firing the mixture at relatively low temperatures to sinter the phyllosilicate, while maintaining the sheet-like morphology of the phyllosilicate and its associated cleaving properties. The sintered machinable glass-ceramic can be machined with conventional metal working tools and includes the electrical properties of the phyllosilicate. Producing the sintered machinable glass-ceramic does not require the relatively high-temperature bulk nucleation and crystallization needed to form sheet phyllosilicate phases in situ.
