Abstract: Collaboration software allows collaborators to view and edit shared electronic files maintained at a central server for storage in a central “cloud.” Collaborators viewing instances of the same file are provided links to the views of other collaborators engaged with the file. Accessing one of these links provides a picture-in-picture (PiP) window of the corresponding collaborator's view. The PiP window can be expanded to review and edit that portion of the shared file under the collaborator's consideration. A project view extends this functionality to collection of files. Collaborators viewing the project view are provided links to the views of other collaborators engaged with one or more files associated with a project.
