  • Patent number: 9374178
Abstract: The present invention and its embodiments are made to provide for a feasible solution for determining transport block size in a wireless communication system. The method comprising of selecting plurality of transport block sizes near to the queue size of the user data and calculating the code rate for the plurality of selected transport block sizes and calculating code rate derived from Channel Quality Information (CQI) index. The method further comprising of comparing the code rates of the plurality of selected transport block sizes with the code rate derived from CQI index and filtering the selected transport block sizes having number of zero padding below a threshold value and having code rates equal or less than the code rate derived from CQI index and selecting one transport block for each modulation order from among the filtered transport block sizes which require lower number of Physical Resource Blocks (PRBs) to transmit.

  • Patent number: 9118477
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for efficient error free packet reception using hybrid automatic repeat-request (HARQ) in a wireless communication system. In one embodiment this is accomplished by receiving in a plurality of modulated digital data as transmission signal at a receiver transmitted through a plurality of transmission paths from a transmitter, demodulating the received transmission signals, estimating the difference between the received transmission signals and the ideal expected signal constellation in order to determine the weights for each constellation symbols, applying the determined weights for each symbol-wise of the received transmission data, storing the weighted data as final data in a buffer of a HARQ combining unit and processing the stored final data to determine whether the received data frames are correct.

  • Patent number: 9031592
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for cancelling adjacent cells interference signal in a wireless communication system. In one embodiment this is accomplished by receiving desired user signal and cancel the channel effect using the desired users reference and or pilot signals, by a serving base station, identifying interference power by estimating the interferer power, determining if the interference is more than threshold, monitoring the interference and identify the interferer signal, re-generating the interference signal source and perform the channel estimate for the interferer, and canceling the interference by applying the interference pattern and the channel estimate to the desired user who's interference is more than threshold.

  • Publication number: 20140295869
Abstract: The present invention relates to a methods and system for allocating resources, e.g., bandwidth over time in a sectorized cellular communications network. In one embodiment this is accomplished by dividing the sectors in to one or more logical sectors, generating plurality of time frequency allocation maps, to schedule the time and frequency resources to avoid interference, for each of said one or more divided sectors, identifying logical sector within the physical sector by means of UE position and serving the UE with logical sector which eliminates interference and maximizes the throughput by re-using the time and frequency resources again and again.
