Abstract: The present invention provides an writing/reading system of HD stream in a digital broadcast product, by which HD transport stream is wrote/read in/from a disc medium. The present invention buffers the HD transport stream in HDD to record in a DVD-RW medium. And, the present invention reads the transport stream recorded in the DVD medium via a decoder, thereby storing the HD transport stream in the DVD medium.

Abstract: The present invention provides a writing/reading control method of HD stream. The present invention buffers an HD stream in an HDD, transfers the buffered HD stream to a DVD module to record the stream in a DVD medium, and reads the record stream. The present invention includes the steps of receiving an HD digital broadcast signal to demodulate into an HD stream in a PVR module, buffering the demodulated HD stream in an HDD, transferring the buffered HD stream to a DVD module to record the transferred HD stream in a DVD medium, reading the HD stream recorded in the DVD medium, buffering the read HD stream in the HDD, and decoding to read the read HD stream buffered in the HDD.

Abstract: The present invention provides a writing/reading control method of HD stream in a DVD recorder, by which HD broadcast signals are write in a DVD medium. The present invention includes the steps of storing a plurality of HD streams in the HDD by demodulating HD broadcast signals received from a tuner/demodulator, creating a stream file in a DVD medium to record a specific one of a plurality of the HD streams stored in the HDD, recording the specific HD stream in the stream file, opening to read the HD steam file recorded in the DVD medium, buffering the read HD stream file in the HDD, and reading the buffered HD stream file using a video decoder.
