    Abstract: Provided are an apparatus for managing a dual level reset of a microgrid gateway for a new generation energy management system and a method thereof. That is, according to the present invention, it is possible to help a stable operation until a person for maintenance arrives on the scene to take action even though a fail occurs in the system by determining whether the system normally operates and enhance stability of a gateway, by performing a reset function for the entire system when a software defect other than a hardware defect is verified.
