  • Publication number: 20130046732
Abstract: Data synchronization management methods and systems are provided. First, pluralities of predetermined sync conditions are set according to time interval information and user behavior information, wherein each of the predetermined sync conditions has a corresponding setting value of update frequency. Then, it is determined whether one of the predetermined sync conditions has been satisfied or a change in the predetermined sync conditions has been detected. In response to one of the predetermined sync conditions being satisfied or a change in the predetermined sync conditions being detected, a data sync procedure is performed with a server to update data from the server based on an update frequency, such that the update frequency of the data sync procedure is dynamically adjusted according to the predetermined sync conditions.

  • Publication number: 20120216291
Abstract: Data security management system and methods are provided. First, a first system having a management authority is provided. The first system displays an input interface on an input device. A switch switches the management authority from the first system to a second system, wherein the second system operates with a secure mechanism. When the management authority is switched to the second system, the first system transmits layout information of the input interface and an input device characteristic of the input device to the second system. The second system receives input data via the input device, and decodes the input data according to the layout information and the input device characteristic.

  • Publication number: 20120137050
Abstract: An electronic device with improved flash memory compatibility and a method corresponding thereto are disclosed. The electronic device has a NAND flash, a processing unit and a program memory. The program memory stores application software and codes of an operating system, to be retrieved and executed by the processing unit. The application software requests for NAND flash access in accordance with a specific page size. The operating system acts as an intermediary between the application software and the NAND flash and provides a device driver which allocates a number of physical pages of the NAND flash to each virtual page of the specific page size for responding to NAND flash access requests from the application software by referring to the virtual pages.

  • Publication number: 20120054523
Abstract: A data transmission method adapted in an electronic device is provided. The data transmission method comprises the steps as follows. The electronic device is operated in a sleep period, wherein at least one first data-transmitting packet is stored in a data-transmitting register. When the sleep period is finished, the electronic device is operated in a wake-up period, wherein during the wake-up period, the first data-transmitting packet is sent to an external network. When the wake-up period is finished, the electronic device is operated in the sleep period again. An electronic device is disclosed herein as well.

  • Publication number: 20120054752
Abstract: A method to dynamically adjust the operation mode of an electronic device is provided. The method comprises the steps as follows. Whether a foreground program executed by the electronic device is changed is detected. When the foreground program is changed, the changed foreground program is identified and a plurality of system operation state parameters are retrieved. A corresponding look-up table is retrieved from a plurality of look-up tables according to the system operation state parameters. At least one operation parameter is searched in the corresponding look-up table according to the system operation state parameters to adjust an operation mode of the electronic device. An electronic device having the operation mode dynamic adjustment mechanism is disclosed herein as well.
