  • Patent number: 10882365
Abstract: The present invention relates to an inflation—deflation system comprising a reserve of air and a valve carried on board the wheel, the air being confined to the reserve under pressure higher than that of the tyre, the valve is in communication with the reserve and the tyre and comprises control means able to adopt: —a rest position in which they ensure stable and hermetic communication between the tyre and the valve; —an inflation position in which they provide communication between the tyre and the reserve, by being moved by air injected by means of an inflation electrically operated valve connected to the reserve; —a deflation position in which they provide communication between the tyre and the external air, by being moved by air injected by a deflation electrically operated valve connected to the reserve.

  • Patent number: 10197173
Abstract: Described herein is an inflation/deflation device of the type comprising a portion provided with an intake orifice for taking in a gaseous fluid under pressure, and a portion provided firstly with an inflation/deflation orifice designed to communicate with the confinement capacity, and secondly with a discharge orifice opening out between the two portions; and a valve member control system for inflation/deflation operations per se. In accordance with the invention, one of the portions is provided with arrangements for receiving a washer, which arrangements are suitable for allowing said washer to deform elastically, under the effect of a pressure of a gaseous fluid discharging through the discharge orifice, so as to release face-on bearing by an annular protuberance provided on the other portion, and so as to generate a fluid discharge passage between said annular protuberance and said washer.

  • Patent number: 9308788
Abstract: A pneumatic device can include a hollow body including an intake aperture controlled by a system for injecting a gaseous fluid under pressure, an inflation aperture in communication with a tire at an initial pressure, and an exhaust aperture for venting the fluid externally. The pneumatic device can include a piston fitted so as to slide within at least one chamber of the body under the effect of the injection of the fluid via the intake aperture, the piston interoperates with a mobile assembly in combination with an exhaust flap valve to control inflation and deflation of the tire.

  • Publication number: 20150075642
Abstract: The device incorporates a hollow body (16), including an intake aperture (20) controlled by a system for injecting a gaseous fluid under pressure, an inflation aperture (24) in communication with the tire at a pressure (P0), and an exhaust aperture (21) for venting the said fluid externally; according to the invention, it incorporates a piston (25) fitted so as to slide within at least one chamber (17) of the body (16) under the effect of the injection of the fluid via the intake aperture (20); the said piston (25) interoperates with a mobile assembly (35, 36, 39) in combination with an exhaust flap valve (27) such that: under the effect of the injection of the gaseous fluid at a pressure (P1>P0), the piston (25) and the mobile assembly (35, 36, 39) are moved linearly against a first flexible component (38) in relation to the exhaust flap valve (27), which remains fixed, as far as a travel limitation position of the said piston (25) and the said assembly (35, 36, 39), corresponding to the opening of the
