Abstract: Propulsion system for a helicopter comprising a main engine, a main rotor, a main gearbox including an output mechanically connected to the main rotor, a reduction gearbox mechanically coupled between the main engine and a first input of the main gearbox, and an assistance device. The assistance device comprises a first electric machine mechanically coupled to the reduction gearbox and configured to operate as an electric generator to take off energy produced by the main engine, and a second electric machine mechanically coupled to a second input of the main gearbox, the second electric machine being supplied with electrical power by the first electric machine and configured to operate as an electric motor to deliver additional mechanical power to the main gearbox.

Abstract: A non-polluting electric generator having at least one battery, an electric motor connected to the battery by electric wires, an alternator, a belt member connected between the alternator and the electric motor, and electric wires extending from the alternator adapted to connect with an electric appliance, such that the generator uses the stored energy of the battery to run the electric motor, which then runs the alternator, which then sends the desired electricity to an electric appliance.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a plastic container which is substantially impervious to oxygen comprising the steps of corona treating a raw stock of polypropylene film; coating a first side of said raw stock of polypropylene film with an aqueous oxygen barrier solution; placing the film in an injection mold; and injection molding a polypropylene material into the mold to bring the polypropylene material in direct contact with the aqueous oxygen barrier solution. An oxygen resistant container has a floor. A sidewall extends from the floor. An oxygen barrier material is disposed on a film. The film is disposed on the container so that the oxygen barrier material is in direct contact with the sidewall. The oxygen barrier material is one of a nano-silicate and a nano-clay.

Abstract: An attachment system for attaching an electric cable to a window pane. The system includes a generally elongated plate having a width approximately equal to a thickness of said pane, the plate being provided with a plurality of holes. A socket is fastened to the plate and is shaped and sized to receive a portion of the electric cable within it, the socket being in communication with an opening provided in the plate in order to permit electrical conductors to pass through the plate. The electric cable is fastened to the plate and the plate is fastened to an edge of the pane, in order to resist a 35 lb traction.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing of a plastic container which is substantially impervious to oxygen by providing a bottom film oxygen barrier, the film oxygen barrier having an area greater than the area of a floor of the plastic container; providing a side oxygen barrier film, the side oxygen barrier film being dimensioned to circumscribe a sidewall of the plastic container and having a length greater than the length of the plastic container. A mold has a floor and a sidewall, the mold having a groove extending below the floor and dimensioned to receive an excess length of the side oxygen barrier film therein, and the bottom oxygen barrier film being dimensioned to extend at least partially across said groove. The film oxygen barriers are placed within the mold and a plastic container is injection molded within the cavity. An oxygen resistant container has a floor. A sidewall extends from the floor. An oxygen barrier material is disposed on the floor and sidewall.
