  • Publication number: 20230393031
Abstract: The present application relates to a transfer device (60) for transferring a plurality of objects (O) through a transfer port (R), comprising a container (61) with an internal space (67) configured to accommodate the plurality of objects (O) to be transferred through the transfer port (R). The container (61) has at least one extraction opening (62) at an end portion of the container (61) in an axial direction (X) dimensioned such that the objects (O) can be removed from the container (61) at least individually, a door (63) configured to selectively close the at least one extraction opening (62) and seal the internal space (67) from the environment, and a piston (64) arranged in the container (61) so as to be movable in a translational motion in the axial direction (X) towards/away from the at least one extraction opening (62) to move the objects (O) accommodated in the container (61).

  • Publication number: 20230393033
Abstract: The application relates to a cartridge for a plurality of petri-dishes, comprising a cylindrical cartridge housing configured to receive the plurality of petri-dishes in a stack aligned with an axial direction of the cartridge housing in an interior space of the cartridge housing such that the stack of petri-dishes can be moved in the axial direction within the interior space. An axial end portion of the cartridge housing has a first opening dimensioned so that the petri-dishes can be exposed from the cartridge housing by sliding in the axial direction. Another axial end portion of the cartridge housing has a second opening dimensioned to prevent removal of the petri-dishes through the second opening and so that a piston can be inserted into the interior space of the cartridge housing for moving the stack of petri-dishes (P) in the axial direction towards the first opening.

  • Patent number: 10320495
Abstract: A method of characterizing the performance of the payload of a satellite in orbit is executed with the aid of a test ground station including first radio-frequency amplification means and a radio-frequency transmit ground antenna. The method includes a step of providing first amplification means that can be configured to generate at the input of the transmit ground antenna a wide-band test thermal noise the power spectral density of which can be adjusted to a test thermal noise reference power spectral density Dref so that the ratio of the test thermal noise spectral density received at the input of the transponder and that corresponds to it to the thermal noise floor spectral density generated by the satellite alone internally and the natural thermal noise of the Earth is greater than or equal to a first threshold Ds1 equal to 10 dB. An IOT system is configured to execute the method.

  • Patent number: 7435339
Abstract: The invention relates to a drainage device for a filter unit for microbiological testing of liquids, said drainage device including a mechanical support (10), which is adapted to receive a filter unit (16), and an suction pump (22) connected to said mechanical support to aspirate a liquid substance contained in said filter unit. The device comprises: a weight sensor (18) on which said mechanical support is mounted; a user interface (26) for entering data relating to drainage and/or said liquid substance; and a control unit (24) connected to said suction pump (22), the weight sensor (18) and said user interface (26), said control unit (24) being adapted to determine, from said data, at least a first weight corresponding to a first representative signal; and, when said weight sensor (18) supplies a signal corresponding to said first signal, said control unit (24) starts operation of said suction pump (22) so as to aspirate said liquid substance contained in said filter unit (16).

  • Patent number: 7211224
Abstract: Laboratory device design particularly for a multiplate format that includes a plate or tray having a plurality of wells, and a drain in fluid communication with each of the plurality of wells. The plate is a one-piece design having a honeycomb structure that brings high rigidity to the plate in order to accept very high centrifugal load. The design also maximizes the well volume and active filtration area while remaining in compliance with SBS format.
