  • Publication number: 20180363661
Abstract: A fan wheel for an axial fan may include a hub and a plurality of blades extending from the hub. Each blade of the plurality of blades may include a blade root coupled to the hub, a blade tip radially distant from the hub, a blade central region lying radially between the blade root and the blade tip, a blade front side facing a pressure side, a blade back side facing a suction side, a transverse profile lying in a cross-sectional plane extending perpendicularly to a radial direction, and a transverse curvature in the transverse profile configured such that the blade front side is curved concavely toward the pressure side and the blade back side is curved convexly toward the suction side. The transverse curvature of at least one blade of the plurality of blades may decrease from the blade central region to the blade tip.

  • Patent number: 9829011
Abstract: A fan clutch, in particular for a fan of a cooling system of a motor vehicle having a housing and an annular flange for connecting the fan, wherein the flange is arranged centrally around a housing axis, wherein the flange forms a flat flange-ring plane substantially perpendicular to the housing axis and has a flange-ring inner side and a flange-ring outer side which bound the flange-ring plane, wherein the flange is contorted in the flange-ring plane in certain areas in a direction substantially parallel to the housing axis.

  • Patent number: 9638476
Abstract: The invention relates to a plate-shaped heat exchanger for a cooling device comprising at least one heat exchanger package, in particular for a motor vehicle, consisting of a plurality of openings for accommodating a pipe conducting a coolant, wherein each opening is surrounded by an passage and a plurality of projections are distributed between the passages for the heat exchange with the medium to be cooled. In order to allow a high performance increase of a cooling device, yet a low increase in pressure loss of the charge air, a plurality of projections are arranged around an passage, wherein the projections have a shape that assures deliberate heat conduction from the projections to the passage.

  • Publication number: 20120324909
Abstract: A heat exchanger for exchanging heat between two media in a vehicle is provided. The heat exchanger includes at least one tube, especially a double-walled tube for carrying a first medium of a first temperature, a thermoelectric material being disposed on an inner wall of the tube, and at least one guide sheet, connected to the at least one tube, for carrying a second medium of a second temperature. The at least one guide sheet is designed to carry the second medium to the outer wall of the at least one tube to allow the exchange of heat between the first and the second medium.

  • Patent number: 7585209
Abstract: The invention relates to an air-conditioning device and to a method for the operation of an air-conditioning device. The aim of the invention is to improve current air-conditioning devices such that a desired level of temperature inside the motor vehicle changes as little as possible and the windows are kept mist-free. As a result, each bypass channel, which guides the heat exchanger to an air outlet channel, is associated with a mixing flap in order to control the warm air flow passing through the bypass channel.
