Abstract: A device for the identification or decoration of stemware. A tubular sleeve of plastic is slit longitudinally on its back side. The sleeve ends are contoured at an angle to the sleeve axis, extending axially inward from the front side, to form a V-shaped end configuration with the convergent end of the “V” aligned with the slit. The device is applied by engaging the stem with a contoured end and pressing toward the stem to cam open the back side of the sleeve and allow it to close around the stem. A rubbery friction pad may be adhered to the inside of the sleeve, near the bottom, to minimize movement of the sleeve on the stem. Identifying and/or decorating embellishments may be applied to the sleeves for distinguishing stemware of similar appearance, or each device of a set may be provided with the same decoration, such as a corporate logo.

Abstract: An improved handbag or the like having one entire side wall formed of a see-through panel which can be selectively exposed to permit facilitated viewing of items contained therein. The see-through panel is joined to an opaque panel to form a receptacle with an access opening at the top. An exterior cover panel of opaque material is removably positioned in covering relation to the see-through panel and at least partially separably attached to the bag structure, allowing the cover panel to be displaced from covering relation to enable facilitated viewing of personal affects through the see-through panel for easy selection and removal.

Abstract: A multi-function carry bag in a form simulating a garment, such as a sweatshirt. Zippered pockets are provided in the ends of the sleeves, such that, when the sleeves are tied around a user's waist by an overhand knot, the pockets are conveniently available at the front. Clips are provided in the ends of the sleeves and at the waistband of the articles, enabling the sleeves to be connected to the waistband to form shoulder straps. The ends of the sleeves can likewise be connected together to form an over-the-shoulder strap. The body portion of the simulated comprises a large pocket accessible by a transverse zippered opening. The zippered opening is located above the lower edges of the sleeves, such that an upper panel portion of the article folds over the opening to conceal it during normal carry modes.

Abstract: A hair adornment device consisting of a pair of hingedly connected clip elements. Each clip element has a plurality of spaced-apart tines positioned to receive, in the spaces between them, tines of the other clip element. Each clip element has a gripping element opposite the tines. The two clip elements are pivotally connected between the tines and the gripping element. One or more lengths of hair are secured to the clip elements and substantially cover outwardly facing surfaces of the clip below the tines. The hair lengths can be secured to the clip elements, on inside or outside surfaces. Where lengths of hair are attached to both clip elements, they can extend loosely therefrom, or they can be gathered and joined adjacent to the gripping elements.

Abstract: A fashion hair accessory comprises a claw type hair clip formed by hinged-together clip elements with interleaved tines, combined with strip sections of artificial hair. The strip sections of hair are formed with selvage-like margins at one end which are engaged with the clip elements adjacent to the tines. The selvage-like margins are secured alternatively to inside or outside walls of the clip elements, or optionally both inside and outside. The clip elements are joined along a hinge axis and have gripping elements on the side of said axis opposite from the tines. At least some of the strands of hair extend over and at least partly cover external surfaces of the clip elements. A strikingly attractive accessory is achieved, which may be inexpensively produced at low cost.

One end of the ribbon-like strip of cut hair is fixed to an inside of the clip, and one or more individual groups of hair strands of the ribbon-like strip are lead through one or a plurality of between-tines spaces of the same clip part. The groups may be braided individually or combined on the outside of the clip to form a fewer number of braids than groups. Beads or other eye-catching embellishments may be attached to the braids for enhanced fashion effects. The individual hair groups may also be draped loosely from the clip. The cut hair can have the appearance of natural hair of the user, or can be primarily decorative.
