    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to methods and kits for discriminating between a bacterial infection and viral infection in a human subject. More specifically, the methods can comprise detecting the expression level of a combination of ABL1, IRF9, ITGAM, LY6E, PSTPIP2 and RUNX1 in biological samples from the human subject and determining whether the human subject has a bacterial or viral infection based on those expression levels.

    Abstract: The invention provides monoclonal antibodies that neutralize TN? activity. The monoclonal antibodies may be rabbit monoclonal antibodies or monoclonal antibodies having CDR regions derived from those rabbit monoclonal antibodies. In certain embodiments, the monoclonal antibodies may be humanized. Methods of using the subject antibodies to inhibit TNF? activity, methods of treatment using those antibodies and kits containing the same are also provided. The invention finds use in a variety of research and medical applications.
