  • Publication number: 20250087074
Abstract: A system for mitigating violence in a clinical care environment. The system detects at least one individual who is exhibiting violent behavior. The system identifies a location of the at least one individual who is exhibiting the violent behavior based on data received from a location tracking system. The system controls operation of a first device based on the location of the at least one individual who is exhibiting the violent behavior, The system generates an alert based on the location of the at least one individual who is exhibiting the violent behavior, the alert communicated to a second device associated with a caregiver in the clinical care environment.

  • Publication number: 20240395396
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a caregiver workload management system comprising at least one processing device and a memory device. The memory device stores instructions which, when executed by the at least one processing device, cause the at least one processing device to: receive healthcare facility input data relating to at least one caregiver and at least one patient; analyze the healthcare facility input data to determine at least one patient burden score; determine at least one caregiver burden score using the at least one patient burden score; and issue an alert when the at least one caregiver burden score exceeds a threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20240387059
Abstract: A caregiver guidance system for generating at least one clinical recommendation is disclosed. The system receives caregiver actions data associated with an experienced caregiver and patient data associated with a patient. The system analyzes the caregiver actions data to identify at least one action performed by the experienced caregiver in response to a patient event detected from the patient data. The system correlates the at least one action performed by the experienced caregiver to the patient event. The system determines a clinical recommendation based on the correlation between the at least one action and the patient event. The system determines when the patient event occurs while an inexperienced caregiver is managing the patient event. The system presents the clinical recommendation to the inexperienced caregiver.

  • Publication number: 20230197263
Abstract: A monitoring device receives an identifier for a caregiver, determines an access level for the monitoring device based upon the identifier of the caregiver, and generates a dynamic interface. The dynamic interface being configured based upon the access level of the caregiver. The monitoring devices accesses historical physiological information based upon the access level and suggests one or more alarm limits based upon the historical physiological information.

  • Publication number: 20220287565
Abstract: An example method includes identifying at least one first parameter of a patient detected during a time interval and identifying a second parameter of the patient detected during the time interval. A position of the individual during the time interval is determined based on the second parameter. Based on determining that the position of the patient is substantially unchanged during the time interval, the example further includes transmitting data identifying the patient and indicating the at least one first parameter to an electronic medical record (EMR) system.

  • Patent number: 10880289
Abstract: A medical facility environment includes medical devices, single-sign on system devices, and an identity access management system (IAMS). A clinician logs into an electronic medical record system and/or facility workstation, typically at the start of a shift. Successful login opens a valid user session with the IAMS. Thereafter, clinicians having valid user sessions can record, save, and/or transmit patient vital signs by providing, only, a clinician identifier associated with the valid user session.

  • Publication number: 20170140134
Abstract: An example medical device includes a physiological measurement device, a device management engine, a user caching engine, and a login engine. The device management engine is configured to receive data captured by the physiological measurement device. The user caching engine is configured to store cache records associated with users in a user cache. The login engine is configured to receive a user identifier associated with a user and determine whether the user identifier is associated with a cache record stored in the user cache. When determined that the user identifier is associated with a cache record stored in the user cache, the login engine is configured to log the user in. When not determined that the user identifier is associated with an unexpired cache record stored in the user cache, the login engine is configured to prompt the user for a credential.
