Abstract: Obtaining expert advice on-demand includes maintaining a substantially real-time list of available experts in selected fields, in an electronic database. The system receives a request from a customer for expert advice in one or more of the selected fields maintained in the electronic database. The system then electronically identifies one or more available experts to the customer in response to the request received and routes the request for expert advice to at least one of the available experts.

Abstract: A method of outsourcing everyday tasks is provided. The method includes the steps of posting a task request with detailed information concerning the services to be performed. Service providers are able to bid on the posted tasks, wherein the service providers may include a bid amount and description of the quality of service to be performed. Thereafter the consumer selects a specific service provider to accomplish the posted task. The method further facilitates completing the monetary transaction via an electronic escrow account operated by and accessible only by a third party. Moreover, a database aggregates user information as part of a detailed feedback system to alleviate fraud or poor quality of service.

Abstract: A process for conducting a backgammon tournament using tournament chips comprising the steps of registering two or more tournament players, assigning one or more tournament chips to each of the players, setting a chip value for each point scored in a game of backgammon, pairing tournament players in groups of two, playing a round of the tournament consisting of games of backgammon involving each group of tournament players, determining whether a tournament player is eliminated from the tournament based upon each player's tournament chip total, and repeating the steps of setting, pairing, playing and determining until only one tournament player remains. The process may be performed online or in person.
