    Abstract: A burner assembly includes a blower assembly couplable to a source of fuel, and a longitudinally elongated housing having a lateral upstream edge, a lateral downstream edge, and a slot formed in the downstream edge. The housing encloses a combustion chamber comprising a generalized cylinder with cross-section having an arcuate portion and a straight portion, the arcuate portion defined by the lateral upstream and downstream edges of the housing. The burner assembly also includes an elongated burner head assembly, the elongated burner head assembly having a first end coupled to the blower and a second end disposed within the combustion chamber.
