  • Patent number: 11081873
Abstract: A direct current motor controller includes a housing, a plurality of terminals, a first two-way switch, a second two-way switch, an actuating mechanism, and a remote controller plug. The terminals and remote controller plug traverse out of the housing as the first two-way switch, the second two-way switch, and the actuating mechanism are mounted within the housing. A first output terminal, a first power supply positive terminal, and a third power supply negative terminals from the terminals are electrically connected to the first two-way switch. A second output terminal, a second power supply positive terminal, and the third power supply negative terminal from the terminals are electrically connected to the second two-way switch. The remote controller plug is electrically connected to the second power supply positive terminal. The actuating mechanism operatively couples with the first and second two-way switches to toggle and inversely toggle the first and second two-way switches.

  • Publication number: 20160243542
Abstract: An apparatus for processing a sample, circuit board suited to use in such an apparatus and a method of processing in which the apparatus has alignment features to assist in aligning the circuit board and a sample cartridge in the correct position relative to one another. In this way, the plurality of sections for processing a sample in the cartridge are positioned against a plurality of elements, such as a heater for heating the sample cartridge or an electrical contact (EP1-EP4) for powering features on the sample cartridge, correctly and can operate independently of one another.

  • Patent number: 8271346
Abstract: The system and method uses strings of computer readable characters, such as QR Codes, biometric data captured from electronic devices, and RFID tags to link contributors to a data supply chain upon transmission from electronic devices that transmit said data strings. The electronically readable identification data strings include connection and context information for enrollees, regulators, and providers of services and products to be subscribed to asynchronous notifications and alerts as well to exchange fees, incentives, and rewards for contributions, participation, and access. Enrolled contributors are enabled to interact with electronic devices or websites or servers to contribute observations and data into protocols or otherwise participate in a data supply chain.

  • Patent number: 6126477
Abstract: A cable connector adapter comprising a segment of tubular elastically deformable flexible conduit, having an outside surface of helical convolutions, connected to a cable connector boot having an integrally formed oval female threaded nut into which the conduit is screwed in a deformed, oval configuration. The conduit is deformed into an oval shape to fit and screw into the oval threaded female nut, said deformation flattening the conduit and adapting it to the generally rectangular shape of the boot and connector, thereby providing the transition in the shape of the bundle of conductors of the cable from round substantially rectangular.

  • Patent number: 5443056
Abstract: A mixture of magnesium-iron alloy and salt is confined within a nonwoven cellulose covering and forms an elongated cartridge which is wrapped with multiple layers of absorbent paper. The cartridge and paper are enclosed within a pouch of perforated plastic film to form a heating element. One or more heating elements are attached by adhesive tape to the inside of a generally triangular polyethylene film envelope, and peripheral portions of the envelope are heat sealed to form an enclosed chamber. An overlying mating sheet of polyethylene coated nylon film and a pad of thermoplastic foam material are heat sealed to peripheral portions of the envelope, and parallel strips of double-sided adhesive tape, with removal protective strips, are attached to the outer surface of the envelope to form a flexible heater device. The device is used by being wrapped around either a vertical or horizontal pipe joint containing a heat activated epoxy.
