Abstract: There is provided a deep screen reality imaging method and apparatus that includes a projector or video for providing image-bearing incident light and a translucent rear projection surface for extracting foreground, subject, and background image information from this image-bearing incident light. This translucent rear projection surface has an image panel containing prioritized background information for providing a background image between a second and third plural imaging region, an image panel containing prioritized subject visual information for providing optically neutral void area and subject image between a first and second plural imaging region, and image panel containing prioritized foreground visual information for providing optically neutral void area and foreground image before a first plural image region.
