  • Patent number: 6227414
Abstract: A dispensing device for liquid, fluid or pasty products. A support in an opening of a receptacle encloses the product. The support has a central tubular conduit, a pushbutton axially slidably mounted on the support between a rest position and an active position and a product outlet conduit. An intermediate piece of a resiliently deformable material is between the support and the pushbutton. The intermediate piece and the pushbutton define a measured quantity chamber for the product. The intermediate piece has an opening for communication between the tubular conduit of the support and the measured quantity chamber, and sealingly bears against at least one opening for passage between the measured quantity chamber and the outlet conduit of the pushbutton.

  • Patent number: 5941428
Abstract: A dispensing device for fluid products comprises a receptacle having a neck (1) with a cylindrical bore and a lip (4) having a redan (4b). A pump body (2) encloses a piston pump mechanism with an axial nozzle. The body of the pump (2) is sealingly mounted on the receptacle by a sleeve (9), a skirt (5) provided on an internal wall with a transverse partition (7) having a central opening (8) adapted to receive the body of the pump (2) and a sealing joint (11) disposed between the body of the pump (2) and the lip (4) of the neck (1) of the receptacle. The skirt (5) is of an elastically deformable material, the skirt (5) having at an upper end thereof a right cylindrical portion (5a) whose external diameter is substantially equal to the internal diameter of the sleeve (9), and below the upper portion (5a) a truncated conical portion (5b) flaring outwardly downwardly and whose height is at least as great as the height of said lip (4) of the neck (1) of the receptacle.

  • Patent number: 5709324
Abstract: Miniature dispenser (1) comprising a receptacle (2) constituted by a reservoir (3) and a cylindrical neck (4), a cylindrical sleeve (5) carrying a piston pump mechanism having an axial nozzle, the sleeve (5) being engaged within the neck (4) of the receptacle (2), the external periphery of a lower skirt of the sleeve (5) being gripped by cone-on-cone engagement about an internal periphery (4a) of the neck (4) of the receptacle (2) and the sleeve (5) comprising, on an external wall (5b) thereof, an annular projection (13) bearing on an upper edge of the receptacle (2). The external periphery of a lower skirt of the sleeve (5) and the internal periphery (4a) of the neck (4) have snap-in formations (14, 15) that are mutually engagable. An internal wall (5a) of the sleeve (5) comprises a peripheral abutment (19) directed toward the interior of the sleeve (5).

  • Patent number: 5595326
Abstract: A system for packaging and dispensing liquid includes a glass vial, a metering pump and an assembly element. The vial, which defines a volume for receiving and containing the liquid, has a body, neck and tip. The neck and tip are joined at a line of weakness, and the vial is opened by snap-off removal of the tip at the weakness. The metering pump has a tubular body with a dip tube projecting downward, and a push-button dispensing head with a piston disposed for movement within the pump body, with a hollow rod defining an ejection duct projecting upwards. The pump body defines a vent closed by the piston at rest, and, in a mid-region, defines a shoulder for supporting engagement upon a lip of the vial neck.
