Abstract: Controlling setting-up a connection in a mobile communication system includes storing, in at least one subscriber database, subscriber-oriented data for a subscriber registered in a home mobile radio network, entering the subscriber-oriented data in a subscriber database when the subscriber moves, and setting-up a connection for the subscriber with a mobile station using a mobile switching center coupled to the subscriber database.

Abstract: A method and communication network for administering additional services which provides that a subscriber self-input into communication terminal equipment be initiated by the subscriber for the respective additional service and, due to the subscriber self-input at least one structured container message is generated by the communication terminal equipment and is sent to a memory unit of the communication network. The container message received by the memory unit is inventively forwarded via an interface that connects the memory unit to the service control point. The interface implemented between memory unit and service control point makes it possible that the container message can be forwarded up to the service control point for a service handling via the subscriber self-input for the additional service.

Abstract: The method and the communication network according to the subject matter of the invention for administering subscriber data provides that an interface (HaHb-IF) via which information (FM, B#) for selecting outside subscriber data can be transmitted is respectively established between one's own memory unit (HLRa) responsible for a subscriber (A) and another memory unit (HLRb). The interface implemented between one's own memory unit and another memory unit not only enables a communication connection to one's own memory unit for the subscriber in a simple way but also enables a communication connection therefrom to another, central data base having outside subscriber data.

Abstract: A telephone network wherein a subscriber data register (TND) is provided in an exchange (UAT, ZAT) for each subscriber (TN1, TN2) allocated thereto and an intelligent services controller (SCP) is allocated to the originating and/or destination office, whereby a coordinate register (GKR) that contains the geographical coordinates of the subscriber line is additionally provided in the exchange (UAT, ZAT) for each subscriber line (TN1, TN2), and the exchange is configured for fetching the coordinates of the calling or called subscriber from the coordinate register given every outgoing and/or arriving call and for making these coordinates together with the subscriber data and other call data available to an intelligent services controller (SCP) allocated to it and/or for forwarding these in the network for further employment by another exchange and an intelligent services controller allocated to it.

Abstract: In the method and system for monitoring the fees arising for calls in a mobile radiotelephone system, billing data is offered and a charge limit (CL) is defined for every individual call, a limited calling time (TA) for the respective call being calculated on the basis thereof. In parallel to the limitation of the call to a specific time duration, a monitoring function is started at every call with which the call is automatically cleared down upon expiration of the limited calling time (TA). By the limitation of the calling time per call and by the monitoring function, the charges incurred during the respective call cannot exceed an upper limit and a misuse of the mobile radiotelephone system, particularly given forwarded or transferred calls, is avoided in a simple manner.
