Abstract: A set of computing devices are networked together. Each device maintains data about the other computing devices in the set, namely, a time and location of a last successful connection between the device and one or more of the other devices. The data at a device is updated as computing devices in the set move out of communication range with one another, for example (a) when the particular computing device itself loses contact with one of the other computing devices in the set, or (b) when the particular computing device receives a notification from one of the other computing devices that such other computing device has lost contact with a computing device that the other computing device had been in contact with. The connection table data is then used to locate a lost computing device, or the identity of a device that has such information in its connection table.

Abstract: A first computer system in a collaborative environment receives a plurality of indications of actions executed on content of a second computer system in the collaborative environment. A mapping between the content of the second computer system and corresponding content of the first computer system is determined. A subset of the plurality of indications of the actions executed on the content of the second computer system that are to be executed on the corresponding content of the first computer system is identified. A preview of executing the subset of the plurality of indications of the actions is presented on the first computer system. The subset of the plurality of indications of the actions is executed on the corresponding content of the first computer system.

The method includes graphically indicating via the graphical user interface the items as selected items and the set of items as unselected items. The method includes updating the first state of the items to a third state that reflects manipulation of the items while still indicating the items as selected items and maintaining the second state for the set of items. The method includes updating the graphical user interface to depict the manipulation of the items in accordance with the command while still indicating the items as selected items and the set of items as unselected items.

Abstract: An approach is provided in which a disincentive is provided during the execution of a video game program that is operated by a current user. One or more disincentive factors are identified that correspond to the current user. The identified disincentive factors are compared with current time factors. Based on the comparison, one or more game characteristics are altered with the game characteristics being altered in order to provide a disincentive to continued operation of the video game program by the current user.

Abstract: A booster seat is provided which has two different booster heights and two corresponding seat sizes, and is capable of nesting in a second booster seat. The booster seat has two chairs portions each having a seat surface, a back support and two arm supports which define seat pockets. The first chair portion seat surface, back support and arm supports are smaller than the second chair portions seat surface, back and arm supports. The first chair portions has an outer circumference defined by its back support and arm supports which is small enough to nest in the second seat pocket. Both the first chair portion and the second chair portion are able to act as bases, and are connected to each other such that the first chair portions acts as a base for the second chair portion and the second chair portion acts as a base for the first chair portion.

Abstract: A hand carriable powered snow removal apparatus having an internal combustion engine power unit removably connected to one end of a tubular boom which supports an elongated drive shaft connected to the engine power takeoff shaft at and to a right angle drive gear unit mounted at the opposite end of the boom. The gear unit includes a housing mounted on the end of the boom and providing a centered drive arrangement for a pair of opposed paddle type impellers mounted on respective ends of an output shaft projecting from opposite sides of the gear housing. A shroud mounted on the gear housing includes an upwardly projecting rear wall and spaced apart lateral side walls partially enclosing the impellers and providing directional control for the snow being discharged from the impellers. A set of movable guide vanes is mounted on the forward end of the shroud and is adjustable to provide for varying the directional attitude of snow being discharged from the shroud.
