  • Publication number: 20100051655
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to molded plastic garment hangers. Garment hangers of this type may be simply constructed as molded plastic structures incorporating a hook adapted to be suspended from a suitable support, such as a garment display rack or the like. The garment hanger has a plurality of elongated body members extending in opposite directions from the hook so as to facilitate a garment to be suspended therefrom. The opposite or distal ends of the elongated body members typically have vertical members attached thereto, and a first set of garment clips formed on the vertical members to enable the attachment of various kinds of garments thereto. The vertical members also have a second set of garment clips formed on the opposite side of the vertical member to permit the garment straps to be secured.

  • Publication number: 20100025440
Abstract: The present invention is a multiple clip wraparound garment hanger with a body having a first arm and a second arm extending laterally outward in opposing directions to a first end and a second end, and a hook extending upward from the body for suspending the garment hanger from a support. A first pair of garment clips is secured to the first and second arms at the first and second ends, respectively. A second pair of garment clips is secured to the body inward of the first and second ends, and a third pair of garment clips secured to the body inward of the second pair of clips. The second and third pairs of garment clips have a first support member and a second support member, each support member having a different thickness. The first support member is substantially flexible and permits deflection of the first support member in a direction into and out of a plane of the body.

  • Publication number: 20090145937
Abstract: A combination hanger and indicator, or either of them separately, the hanger with a body and a post extending upward from the body, the intersection of the post and the body defining a lower neck region of the hanger, the post having a flange extending outward from the post at a position removed from the body of the hanger. An indicator includes a pair of opposing side walls connected by a pair of opposing end walls, with an opening in the top of the indicator, the opening defined at least in part by a displaceable resilient tab, preferably two positioned on opposite sides of the indicator, attached to one of the side walls or end walls, wherein displacement of the tab enlarges the opening to admit the flange. At least some portion of the post between the flange and the body is smaller than the flange to reduce the displacement of the tab.
