  • Publication number: 20240153196
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to generate an image of one or more objects. In at least one embodiment, an image of one or more objects is generated using a neural network based on, for example, a representation of a scene.
    Type: Application

  • Publication number: 20240123620
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to generate and select grasp proposals. In at least one embodiment, grasp proposals are generated and selected using one or more neural networks, based on, for example, a latent code corresponding to an object.
    Type: Application

  • Publication number: 20060052690
Abstract: Procedures for providing health care to a range of anatomies that require contrast agents for adequate imaging. Image data is acquired in accordance with a range of modalities, and at different times and on different patients, depending upon the particular implementation. The image data is processed in accordance with one of a range of manners and algorithms for a particular purpose and a specific tissue or organ. The resulting workflow paths provide novel combinations for rendering health care to specific tissues and organs by the use of contrast agent-based imaging.
    Type: Application

    Publication date: March 9, 2006
Inventors: Saad Sirohey, Gopal Avinash, David Mack, Stanley Fox
  • Publication number: 20050147320
Abstract: A method for facilitating a reduction in image artifacts is provided. The method includes receiving data regarding a scan of an object, reconstructing a plurality of images using the received data to form a three-dimensional image space, determining an orientation for a maximum intensity pixel operation, locating the maximum intensity pixels within a plurality of ray paths in accordance with the determined orientation, and filtering around each maximum intensity pixel along each ray path.
    Type: Application
    Filed: December 30, 2003
    Publication date: July 7, 2005
    Inventors: Jiang Hsieh, Stanley Fox
  • Publication number: 20050004452
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for analyzing at least one abnormality of an object is described. The method includes obtaining a first image containing an abnormality using a first modality, obtaining a second image containing the abnormality using-a second modality, selecting a first region of interest located within the first image, determining an anatomical size of the abnormality based on the first region of interest in the first image, and determining a relative metabolic activity based on a second region of interest within the second image.
    Type: Application

    Publication date: January 6, 2005
Inventors: Sarah Hertel, Stanley Fox, Alexander Ganin, Charles Stearns
  • Patent number: 6501818
Abstract: A computed tomography system includes an x-ray source, an x-ray detector aligned with the x-ray source, a processor coupled to the x-ray detector, and a display for displaying reconstructed images. The processor is programmed to perform at least one of: generating a partially reconstructed image for display on the display; dynamically reformatting images for display on the display; communicating the partially reconstructed image, the reformatted images, or data associated with the system to a remote facility.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 28, 1999
Date of Patent: December 31, 2002

  • Patent number: 5510622
Abstract: Image artifacts are reduced in a volumetric CT scanner system by decreasing the detector pitch along one or both dimensions of a 2D detector array. Four different embodiments for reducing detector pitch without reducing the size of each detector element are disclosed.
