  • Patent number: 10156527
Abstract: An apparatus and method is provided to efficiently and more precisely inspect reticles for contamination. The inspection system is used to image the reticle back-side and pellicle-side separately by transferring the reticle while maintaining desired demagnification. An inspection system is disclosed that includes a reticle support to support the reticle at a first position and an illumination source to illuminate a first surface of the reticle at the first position. The inspection system further includes a first sensor to receive light from the illuminated first surface of the reticle when the reticle is at the first position and a second sensor to receive light from an illuminated second surface of the reticle when the reticle is at a second position.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 5, 2015

    Assignee: ASML Holding N.V.
Inventors: Stanley G. Janik, Yuli Vladimirsky, James H. Walsh

  • Patent number: 7292308
Abstract: A system and method are used to feed a flexible substrate through a patterned beam to be exposed at target portions by the pattered beam. In one example, the flexible substrate is passed over a chuck (e.g., a vacuum chuck). In one example, the chuck can bias the flexible substrate against a chuck surface during alignment, focus, and exposure operations. By biasing the flexible substrate, the flexible substrate can continuously move while being held against the chuck. In one example, the flexible substrate is fed onto the vacuum chuck from a supply roller and fed off the chuck and wrapped on to a take-up roller. The supply and take-up rollers are rotated to follow the scanning motion, which minimizes or substantially eliminates tension on the flexible substrate during the exposure period.

  • Patent number: 4455821
Abstract: A simple continuity circuit is provided interconnecting the connector bodies of a wiring harness which directs the signal from the computer control of a gas turbine engine to the fuel metering unit of said engine. The continuity circuit forms part of the ignition exciter circuit and acts to de-energize the exciter when the wiring harness is not in place. This prevents ignition when the failure mode of the fuel metering unit is directing a fuel flow to the combustor which is excessive for safe start-up.
