  • Publication number: 20240068252
Abstract: Disclosed herein are various systems, sub-system, and methods for the manufacture of a wall module for using in building a modular construction unit, e.g., for using in building residential homes, commercial offices, educational or service facilities, etc. using a substantially entirely automated modular construction technique. According to the disclosure herein, the resulting wall module includes an internal wall frame including wall studs attached between a top plate and a bottom plate, with, in some embodiment, one or more framing sub-assemblies attached therein to define openings through the wall module. The wall frame has suitable panel members the respective surfaces thereof corresponding to the interior and exterior surfaces of the modular construction unit. The wall frames, when completely assembled, can be transported to be assembled with other constituent components of the modular construction unit to complete the manufacture of the modular construction unit.

  • Patent number: 10812528
Abstract: Anti-Phishing protection assists in protecting against phishing attacks. Any links that are contained within a message that has been identified as a phishing message are disabled. A warning message is shown when the phishing message is accessed. The first time a disabled link within the phishing message is selected a dismissible dialog box is displayed containing information about how to enable links in the message. After the user dismisses the dialog, clicking on a disabled link causes the warning message to flash drawing the user's attention to the potential severity of the problem. The links may be enabled by the user by selecting the warning message and choosing the appropriate option. Once the user enables the links, future displays of the message show the links as enabled.

  • Patent number: 10283000
Abstract: A system for enabling an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to respond to an alert on a premises, where the UAV may either confront the alert situation or monitor the alert situation from a distance. The UAV may respond to the alert situation after a controller receives alert event data from an alert generator. The controller may further match the data received to a number of event types stored in a database. This information allows a flight plan to be determined which will allow the UAV to navigate to a location associated with the alert situation.

  • Patent number: 7908329
Abstract: Various technologies and techniques are disclosed that enhance the security of electronic mail messages and folders. Messages that are deemed to be less secure and have a higher security risk, such as unsolicited commercial e-mail (i.e. SPAM) and phishing messages, are reformatted and displayed in plain text with hyperlinks disabled in certain circumstances. For example, messages in a junk e-mail folder may be reformatted and displayed in plain text with hyperlinks disabled to make them safer for the user to interact with.

  • Patent number: 7360827
Abstract: A deflector assembly for an automobile sunroof (60) has an elongate acrylic visor (40) for, deflecting air from the sunroof and, a pedestal (150a) mountable to each end of the visor to form the deflector assembly. Each of the pedestals is secured onto the automobile, such as with a clip (155) and fastener (156) arrangement, to removably retain the visor adjacent the sunroof. Gaskets (48, 49) are provided as a buffer between the deflector assembly and the automobile's roof, and an inert material (48a) is placed adjacent the visor to avoid adverse reaction with the gasket material (48b).

  • Patent number: 6892427
Abstract: A clip for retaining an accessory on an edge of an automobile member has a block element for location adjacent the edge of one side of the automobile member. The clip has a plug for engaging a hole in the accessory and extending into an aperture in the block element, and a jaw for engaging the block element and a second opposed side of the automobile member. The clip is secured to the automobile member's edge by inserting a fastener through the jaw and into the block element and tightening the fastener. The fastener also engages and fixes the plug within the block member, thereby securing the accessory to the block portion and thus to the automobile member's edge.
