    Abstract: In the front of a standard toilet apparatus, left, middle, and right side pedals are mounted over a thin substrate between the toilet base and a floor. The pedals enclose a mechanical apparatus for tensioning cables connected to a junction box at a back end of the toilet. Cables from the junction box to the lid and seat lift and reset the lid and seat upon actuation of the left and right pedals. A cable from the junction box causes the toilet flushing mechanism to actuate upon depressing of the middle pedal.
