  • Publication number: 20240166758
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods for using BCMA-specific binding molecules (such as a BCMA-specific chimeric antigen receptor or antibody) in combination with ?-secretase inhibitors, which can be done concurrently or sequentially, to treat or prevent a B-cell related proliferative disease, such as a cancer or autoimmune disease, or the like. A BCMA-specific binding molecule in combination with ?-secretase inhibitor can be used in, for example, adoptive immunotherapy.

  • Patent number: 9848745
Abstract: A product that includes a compressor, a housing and a vibration isolation mount located between the compressor and the housing. The compressor includes an impeller, a first inlet located upstream of the impeller, a first outlet located downstream of the impeller, a second inlet located downstream of the first outlet, and a second outlet located downstream of the second inlet. During operation, fluid enters the compressor via the first inlet and exits the compressor via the first outlet. The mount creates a restriction between the compressor and the housing that causes fluid exiting the first outlet to re-enter the compressor via the second inlet.

  • Publication number: 20090276385
Abstract: A method of training an artificial-neural-network includes applying a training algorithm to a first artificial-neural-network using a first training set to generate a sequence of weight values associated with a connection in the first artificial-neural-network. The method also includes training a second artificial-neural-network to generate a weight value, where the training utilizes a second training set. The second training set includes the generated sequence of weight values associated with the connection in the first artificial-neural-network. A system includes a first artificial-neural-network including a plurality of connections, where each connection is associated with a weight value. The system also includes a second artificial-neural-network including a plurality of outputs, where each output generates the weight value associated with one connection of the plurality of connections in the first artificial-neural-network during a training of the first artificial-neural-network.

  • Patent number: 4655884
Abstract: An improved method of depositing nickel on a clean refractory metal surface to form a multilayer article is disclosed, wherein the full thickness of nickel can be plated prior to the intermetallic bonding of the metals. The metal surface is cleaned and etched prior to the application of a first layer of nickel on the surface by electroplating means. After the article is rinsed, a second layer of nickel is applied to the first layer of nickel by electroplating means. The article is then heated in the absence of air to cause intermetallic bonding between nickel and the refractory metal substrate.

  • Patent number: 3996878
Abstract: An assembly for attachment to a rotatable shaft of a machine tool, for example, a lathe, for indicating translational movement of a member selectively in one of two scales, including two dials graduated one in each said scale, an idler pinion connecting the two dials, the number of teeth on each dial engaging the idler pinion giving the required conversion ratio, and an indexable sleeve surrounding both dials and being movable to reveal only a selected scale at any one time.
