    Abstract: A bottle handling device for assisting in inserting a number of similar sized bottles into a secondary container, such as a partitionless beer carton. The device comprises a frame which, when inserted into the empty carton, provides a number of similar sized cells or compartments equal to the number of bottles which would completely fill the carton. The frame is maintained by support means above the shoulders of the bottles when located in the carton. Each bottle is inserted into, and its main body passes through, the frame until the bottle sits on the carton floor, the walls of each cell preventing a bottle in that cell from toppling over and hindering the insertion of further bottles and completion of filling of the carton. Upon completion and filling of the carton, the device is readily removed for reuse and the bottles are maintained in their upright condition by contacting adjacent bottles and the carton walls.

    Abstract: A fabric conditioning article for use in a clothes dryer. The fabric conditioning article having a flexible sheet and a fabric conditioning composition deposited on the sheet. The fabric conditioning composition includes a fabric conditioning agent, perfumed particles and minor components. The perfume particles are a perfume composition incorporated into a porous mineral carrier such as clay and/or zeolite. Optionally, the perfume composition comprises low levels of unstable perfume components. Alternatively, the perfumed particles have a coating material encapsulating at least a portion of the particles. Optionally, the articles are packaged in a container having a moisture barrier to prevent premature release of the perfume therefrom.

    Abstract: An oxidation-resistant alloy for use in a high-temperature or thermal cycling environment. The alloy comprises a nickel-based matrix having a solid solution of 19-23% chromium and 3-6% aluminum. A self-healing, thermodynamically stable oxide layer is formed upon a surface of the alloy which is exposed to an oxidizing atmosphere over a range of temperatures for extended periods of time. The oxide layer protects the alloy from the oxidizing atmosphere. Additions of calcium and yttrium are made to the matrix to substantially remove or stabilize oxygen and sulfur dissolved in the molten alloy. These additions result in retention of about 0.005-0.05% of calcium and 0.01-0.06% yttrium in the cast alloy. The matrix further includes about 2-8% iron to inhibit nucleation and growth of a "gamma prime" nickel aluminum intermetallic compound which would otherwise adversely harden the alloy and cause local disturbance of a uniform distribution of aluminum. The alloy has a VHN below about 350.

Thirdly, securing the riding cinch to an animal to be ridden. Fourthly, activating the release activating circuit with the remote transmitter, as the rider dismounts.

    Abstract: A flow control device for a solder wave apparatus that includes an outlet or nozzle from which molten solder flows in an upward direction to contact the lower surface of a target, such as a circuit board. The flow control device provides a screen and baffle that control the flow pattern of molten solder to the nozzle so as to result in a near-parallel solder wave above the nozzle. The screen includes a pair of spaced-apart parallel panels that are disposed upstream of the nozzle. Each of the panels has apertures through which the molten solder flows before entering the nozzle. The apertures of the panels are offset from each other, such that none of the apertures are coaxial but instead overlap each other when superimposed. The baffle is disposed further upstream of the screen, and includes a number of fins disposed substantially perpendicular to the panels. The fins are arranged such that their lengths become progressively shorter in a direction away from the center of the baffle.

    Abstract: An apparatus for and a method of propagating bubble domains is disclosed. The apparatus includes a memory plane that is comprised of a non-magnetic support member upon which are formed a bubble domain layer and at least one stripe domain layer. The stripe domain layer has a set of relatively-narrow, periodic, potential well generating fixed stripe domains provided therein while the bubble domain layer has a set of relatively-wide, parallel, potential well generating fixed guidance channels provided therein that are oriented orthogonal to the parallel set of stripe domains in the stripe domain layer. Bubble domains are concurrently entered, in parallel, at one end of the memory plane in selected ones of the guidance channels. A periodic amplitude modulated bias field of frequency F propagates each of the bubble domains along the associated guidance channel from adjacent to next downstream adjacent stripe domain and thus through the memory plane at the frequency F.
