Abstract: A personalized book 40 is to be made with the participation of an individual, who is the subject of a personalized story in the book. The individual is supplied with a book cover 42, sheets 58a through 58f, facilities for securing the sheets within the book cover, instructions for making the personalized book 40 through an interactive interface with a facility at an Internet website location, a website address, and a unique access code 144. Through use of a computer at a remote location geographically spaced from the website location, the individual accesses the website facility, and provides personal data in response to a questionnaire. The personal data is merged, at the website location, with impersonal data previously stored at the website facility to complete the story. The merged data is displayed at the remote location, and can be printed on the sheets 58a through 58f.
