  • Patent number: 6159137
Abstract: A apparatus for manufacturing an object of a folded sheet material has improved slitting, scoring/crushing, gathering, and folding sections or devices. Qualifying means, slitting means, and scoring/crushing means are adjustable with respect to a flat, planer, path of movement so that sheet material moves through the machine without causing the paper to assume an "S" shape, or otherwise suffer loss of paper control. Qualifying means bring within tolerance, sheet which is over thickness. Identifying rollers identify and slightly pre-fold a blank before it enters a gathering and pre-folding section. Novel slitting and scoring heads are easily changed in number or configuration, and have easily replaceable split blades.

  • Patent number: 5487345
Abstract: A pallet member is constructed of a longitudinally extending core means surrounded by an outer covering of parametric horizontally and vertically running panels. The longitudinally extending core means may be a plurality of separate rectangular-shaped pieces glued together to form a closely packed, or solid core of adjacent vertically oriented panels. The corrugations of the individual rectangular panels may extend horizontally or vertically or panels having horizontally extending corrugations may be alternated with panels having vertically extending corrugations. Alternately, the core means may be made of a one-piece pleated piece of corrugated fiberboard which is folded accordion-style and glued to form the closely-packed core.

  • Patent number: 5357875
Abstract: A pallet of corrugated fiberboard material has floor-contacting spaced, parallel and longitudinal extending base members perpendicularly interconnected at longitudinally spaced intervals by spaced, parallel and laterally extending deck members. Each member is constructed from creased and scored rectangular blanks folded to comprise a solid core of adjacent vertically oriented panels surrounded by an outer covering of perimetric horizontally and vertically running panels.

  • Patent number: 5240234
Abstract: A clamp-on gutter holder, that removably attaches to the fascia board of a dwelling and allows the installer to temporarily position the gutter along the fascia board, align and then nail it at its desired location. Several of the devices are removably attached along the length of the fascia board at spaced intervals, and the gutter is then placed upon the devices for temporary support. After the gutter is securely nailed, the devices are removed for subsequent use by simply releasing the clamping means.

  • Patent number: 5146846
Abstract: A roller assembly for grain shellers, the assembly including a metal sleeve having locking lugs fixed therein, a sleeve of flexible material bonded to the exterior of the metal sleeve, the locking lugs being adapted for connection to a mounting hub, thereby to fix the metal sleeve to the mounting hub.

  • Patent number: 5142784
Abstract: A method for making a roller sleeve assembly comprising providing a metal sleeve, fixing locking lugs to an interior surface of the metal sleeve, the locking lugs extending radially inwardly of the sleeve, and bonding a flexible sleeve to the exterior of the metal sleeve. The invention further contemplates a method for making a roller assembly comprising sliding the above-described sleeve assembly onto a hub comprising a circular wall with ribs extending normally therefrom, and fixing the locking lugs to the circular wall for locking the sleeve assembly onto the hub.
