    Abstract: A method and system for alignment of streaming data between circuit and packet domains of a communication system includes receiving an uplink circuit frame from a wireless connection in a circuit domain of a communication system. The uplink circuit frame is aligned to a packet domain of the communication system to generate a packet domain-aligned circuit frame. The packet domain-aligned circuit frame is forwarded for packetization and transmission in the packet domain.
