Abstract: A method and computer program product for conducting a weighted keyword search and a method for displaying search results. A computer determines respective weights of respective keywords, based on proximity of a user interaction position to the respective keywords on a graphical presentation. The computer conducts a weighted keyword search of documents based on the keywords and the respective weights of the keywords. In a method of displaying search results, based on the respective weights, a computer displays the search results associated with the respective keywords.

Abstract: Centralized single sign-on service for entitlement for multiple different application interface objects to relational database objects is provided as a function of a set of relational extensible mark-up language links. Roles are mapped to a unique user identification by a first extensible mark-up language link. A permission value within a second extensible mark-up language link that specifies a type of access to a unique data object identification is linked to the roles mapped in the first link. An object type and an object name within another extensible mark-up language link are linked to the determined permission value and to the unique data object identification. Access to a data object within a database by different external applications is enabled pursuant to the determined permission value as a function of the data object having the unique data object identification, the first and the second external applications using different application formats.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to the activation of the content of anonymous welcome screens without losing availability. A method in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes: providing a wrapper application on a first set of application servers, configured for high performance and availability, with the goal of quickly providing and serving a dynamic welcome screen corresponding to the application using a second set of application servers, independent from the first set of application servers and configured for high functionality and security, wherein the content of the welcome screen is obtained by reading national language sensitive (NLS) content from corresponding updatable text storage areas; wherein the welcome screen remains available to a user regardless of an operational status of the application on the first application server.

Communications from this virtual server cluster are, in turn, dispatched by a second network dispatcher in a Domino cluster. External objects, primarily for a GUI, are served in a .dfs and include graphic files, Java files, HTML images and net.data macros. The catalog is built from supplier provided flat files. A front end is provided for business logic and validation, as also is a relation database backend. HTML forms are populated using relational database agents. A role table is used for controlling access both to Notes code and DB2 data. Large amounts of data are quickly transferred using an intermediate agent and window.
