    Abstract: The invention is a novel zipper slide comprising a pull-tab and housing and methods of using the novel zipper slide. The housing comprises four front projecting guide arms directing the disconnected zipper teeth either toward, or away from, each other and interfering with material that could become entangled in the zipper teeth or with the slide. Two of these front projecting guide arms are positioned on the top portion of the housing and the two remaining front projecting guide arms are positioned on the bottom portion of the housing. The housing further comprises four back projecting guide arms directing the connected zipper teeth either into, or out of, the slide and interfering with material that could become entangled in said zipper teeth or with the slide. Two of these back projecting guide arms are positioned on the top portion of the housing and the two remaining back projecting guide arms are positioned on the bottom portion of the housing.
