Abstract: In accordance with various embodiments, a rotatable member is mounted to a spindle hub so that initial servo data previously provided to the rotatable member are eccentrically offset with respect to a rotational center of the spindle hub. Compensation vales are determined to characterize said offset, after which final servo data are provided to the rotatable member in relation to the initial servo data and the determined compensation values. The final servo data are nominally concentric with the rotational center of the spindle hub.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention allow for detection of contact between a sensor, such as a data read/write head, and a surface, such as the magnetic surface of a disc. An actuator may be controlled to repeatedly seek a head across a surface of a disc. A touchdown actuation pattern may be provided to the head during the seeks and a set of measurements are made to detect contact.

Abstract: The present invention discloses aqueous micellar formulations for topical administration of benzimidazoles or salicylanilides with macrocyclic lactones to livestock for the control of endo- and ecto-parasites, comprising a first active agent selected from water insoluble benzimidazoles, salicylanilides and active derivatives or salts thereof, in combination with a second active agent selected from macrocyclic lactones or active derivatives or salts thereof, and also comprising, per litre of formulation: from about 100 to about 400 g veterinary acceptable surfactant(s); from about 200 to about 750 g veterinary acceptable water-miscible solvent(s); and from about 50 to about 350 g water, as well as methods for dosing livestock with such formulations, and methods for controlling and/or preventing diseases or parasite infection in livestock.
