Patent number: 11911197Abstract: Techniques are provided for x-ray sensing for intraoral tomography. A methodology implementing the techniques according to an embodiment includes detecting an x-ray pulse based on energy received at one or more pixels of a pixel array. The method also includes integrating the energy received at each of the pixels of the array of pixels, in response to the detection, wherein the energy received at each of the pixels is associated with the x-ray pulse. The method further includes multiplexing readouts of analog signals from the array of pixels into two or more parallel channels. The method further includes simultaneously converting (or otherwise in parallel) the analog signals of each of the channels into digital signals and storing the digital signals in memory as frames of data. The method may further include, for example, transmitting the frames of data from the memory, over a Universal Serial Bus, to an imaging system.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2021Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: BAE Systems Imaging Solutions Inc.Inventors: Stanley K. Patent number: 10149021Abstract: A method includes receiving and processing an electronic signal that represents television content to provide a first media signal that is playable to present a forward-playback of the television content. The method also includes, responsive to a first instruction, providing a second media signal that is playable to present a reverse-playback of the television content, and recording a portion of the television content that corresponds to the reverse-playback. Further, the method includes, responsive to a second instruction, stopping the recording of the television content. In addition, the method includes, responsive to a third instruction, saving one or more recorded portions of the television content. The method also includes, responsive to receiving a fourth instruction, communicating the saved recording of the television content to a separate computing device.Type: GrantFiled: October 20, 2017Date of Patent: December 4, 2018Assignee: The DIRECTV Group, Inc.Inventors: Jonathan A. Patent number: 9451328Abstract: Embodiments disclose systems and methods for variable speed playback with bi-directionality. One example implementation may comprise a computing device receiving a request to modify a playback speed of a recorded program. In response, the computing device may provide an interactive menu that enables the selection of a new playback speed for the computing device to provide the recorded program to a graphical interface (e.g., television). The computing device may further receive a selection of a given playback speed for the computing device to provide the recorded program to the graphical interface and process the video component and the corresponding audio component of the program for playout at the given playback speed. The computing device may provide the processed video component and the processed corresponding audio component in a combination for playout at the given playback speed.Type: GrantFiled: January 8, 2015Date of Patent: September 20, 2016Assignee: The DIRECTV Group, Inc.Inventors: Aaron C.
