Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices of the invention are directed to a light fixture that includes a housing with a bottom wall, a front wall, a back wall, two side walls, and an aperture, a reflector connected to the housing, and one or more bracket-based LED light sources segments connected to at least one of the front wall, the back wall, or the two side walls of the housing. In some embodiments of the invention, the housing is a wall mount housing. In some embodiments of the invention the bracket-based LED light source includes a bracket shaped to position the LED light source to emit a particular optical distribution from the aperture of the housing, and/or the bracket is shaped to thermally disburse heat radiating from the LED light source. In other embodiments of the invention, a portion of a bracket of at least one bracket-based LED light source is flexible.

A universal bracket is coupled to the junction box along the ceiling and engages with a top mounting plate affixed to the housing. One or more slide hooks appended to the universal bracket allows the top mounting plate to mount to the universal bracket, and a reinforced spring and locking spring keeps the light fixture housing in place, while preventing rattling between the universal bracket and the top-mounting plate. The housing can be removed from the electrical junction box through the use of a release button affixed to the housing. The button disengages the locking spring from the top mounting plate, thereby allowing the housing to swivel away from the universal bracket and junction box by way of a hanging hook. The hanging hook supports the housing when released from the universal bracket.

Abstract: A combination luminaire and path of egress lighting includes a lamp housing and one or more auxiliary lamps. The lamp housing includes an electrical enclosure, a lamp mounting area and a lamp cover. A primary light source is positioned within and coupled to the lamp housing. The auxiliary lamps are coupled to and extend out from the exterior of the lamp housing. Each auxiliary lamp typically include a base plate, a stem member, and a task lamp housing. The base plate is coupled to the exterior of the lamp housing. The stem rotatably coupled on one end to the base plate and along the other end to the task lamp housing. By rotatably coupling auxiliary lamp along each end of the stem member, the task lamp housing has a large range of adjustability so that it can be aimed towards paths of egress after the luminaire is installed.
