  • Patent number: 12279095
Abstract: Hearing systems have at least one hearing instrument which is parameterizable by means of a plurality of signal processing parameters. An initial setting of the signal processing parameters is performed in a test group of hearing systems and a final setting is derived after single or multiple changing of the parameter setting. A change vector in the parameter space is determined from the difference between the final setting and the initial setting. A language indicator characterizing a specific language is assigned to each change vector. From change vectors which are assigned to the same language or a language group a center of gravity of the change vectors in the parameter space is determined as the center of gravity of change. The center of gravity of change is used for a subsequent setting of the hearing systems in the test group or a further hearing system.

  • Publication number: 20240280145
Abstract: In a shaft-hub connection and brake assembly having a shaft-hub connection, a shaft has an external toothing, and a hub has an internal toothing. The hub is plugged by its internal toothing onto the shaft with external toothing such that the external toothing is in engagement with the internal toothing. The shaft has an annular groove, e.g., an annular groove, that extends around completely and/or uninterruptedly in the circumferential direction. An annular spring, e.g., a spring ring, is arranged in the annular groove, and the annular groove is arranged, e.g., centrally, in the external toothing.

  • Patent number: 12022259
Abstract: A system, method and computer program are configured to interactively assist a user in evaluating and/or configuring a hearing aid. The system is equipped with a display element, with an input unit and with a processing unit. The environmental situations are shown on the display element. Based on a user input, a selected section of the environmental situation is determined and highlighted. A specific hearing situation is presented on the basis of the selection made by the user. An evaluation scale is displayed, allowing the user to enter a hearing value for a self-assessment of his hearing ability for the specific hearing situation, and the hearing value entered by the user is recorded. The above steps are repeated and hearing values are recorded for different specific hearing situations. Based on the hearing values entered by the user, setting values for the hearing aid are determined.

  • Patent number: 11773934
Abstract: In a carrier disk assembly for a brake assembly, and an electromagnetically actuable brake assembly with a carrier disk assembly, the carrier disk assembly has a hub part, two friction linings, and two disks. The disks are connected to the hub part, in particular with the aid of axially directed screws. Each one of the disks has a surface region provided with first depressions. A first friction lining is bonded and/or glued to the first disk in the surface region of the first of the two disks, and a second friction lining is bonded and/or glued to the second disk in the surface region of the second of the two disks.

  • Patent number: 11678127
Abstract: A method operates a hearing system having a hearing device and modifies an input signal for the purpose of sound output to a user and, applies multiple algorithms with a respective potency, as a result of which a respective algorithm is applied with a present potency in a present situation. The hearing system recurrently receives a report from the user indicating that the user is dissatisfied with the sound output in the present situation. The hearing system has a database, containing multiple weights for each algorithm, to rate a change of the potency. If a report is received, each of the algorithms is rated using the weights to ascertain an individual-case relevance for each of the algorithms, to assess the effect of a change of the potency. Multiple individual-case relevances are combined to form a relevance value for each algorithm, the relevance values are compared with one another.

  • Publication number: 20220399733
Abstract: A method charges an energy storage unit of a mobile device, in particular a hearing aid, which is alternately able to be charged in charging phases and able to be used in use phases. For the charging in an upcoming charging phase, a probable duration of the upcoming charging phase and a probable energy consumption of a subsequent use phase are determined based on past charging phases and past use phases. A required charge for the energy storage unit is calculated based on the probable energy consumption. A charging schema for charging the energy storage unit is set for the upcoming charging phase based on the required charge and the probable duration. A mobile device and a charging device are also specified.

  • Patent number: 11528569
Abstract: A method for transmitting information for adapting a hearing aid, in which an inquiry with regard to information of a partial process of the adaptation and/or a partial process of an operation of the hearing aid is transmitted by a first participant to a networked computer infrastructure. The inquiry is checked for conformity by the networked computer infrastructure with a plurality of stored partial process instructions. In the event that conformity with the inquiry is ascertained the corresponding partial process instruction is output to the first participant. In the event that no conformity of one of the stored partial process instructions with the inquiry is ascertained, the inquiry is output to a second participant, a partial process instruction corresponding to the inquiry is created with the co-operation of the second participant, and the partial process instruction corresponding to the inquiry is output to the first participant.

  • Patent number: 11368798
Abstract: In a method for the environment-dependent operation of a hearing system values for a first plurality of environmental data of a first user of the hearing system are determined each time in a training phase for survey times, and the values of the environmental data for each of the survey times are used to form respectively a feature vector in an at least four-dimensional feature space. Each of the feature vectors is mapped respectively onto a corresponding representative vector in a maximum three-dimensional representation space, and a spatial distribution of a subgroup of representative vectors is used to define a first region in the representation space for a first environmental situation of the hearing system. A value of a setting for signal processing of the hearing system is specified for the first environmental situation, and the hearing system is operated with the value set in this way.

  • Patent number: 11356784
Abstract: During the operation of a hearing device system, there is received information characteristic of an encounter between a hearing device wearer wearing a hearing device and another person. The information is taken as a basis for indicating that the hearing device wearer has met or is about to meet the other person. Background information about the other person is collected from at least one social network, and the background information about the other person is converted into audio data. The audio data are audibly presented to the hearing device wearer by way of the hearing device of the hearing device wearer.

  • Publication number: 20220095063
Abstract: In a method for operating a hearing device, an activation gesture of a user is detected by a sensor, and a control gesture of the user is detected by the sensor or a further sensor. A setting parameter of the hearing device is changed in dependence on the control gesture.
