  • Publication number: 20240101057
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for operating a motor vehicle, which comprises a high-voltage on-board electrical system and a low-voltage on-board electrical system, which are connected by means of a DC-to-DC converter. The high-voltage on-board electrical system is connected to a battery via a switching circuit, and an electromotive main drive is fed by means of the high-voltage on-board electrical system. An electrical contacting of the battery with the high-voltage on-board electrical system is terminated by means of the switching circuit, and the main drive is operated as a generator, such that electrical energy is fed into the high-voltage on-board electrical system, by means of which electrical energy the low-voltage on-board electrical system is fed via the DC-to-DC converter.

  • Patent number: 11574416
Abstract: A method includes obtaining a set of images that correspond to a person. The method includes generating a body pose model of the person defined by a branched plurality of neural network systems. Each neural network system models a respective portion of the person between a first body-joint and a second body-joint as dependent on an adjacent portion of the person sharing the first body-joint. Providing the set of images of the respective portion to a first one and a second one of the neural network systems. The first one and second one correspond to adjacent body portions. The method includes determining, jointly by at least the first one and second one of the plurality of neural network systems pose information for the first respective body-joint and the second respective body-joint.

  • Publication number: 20220207772
Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods for generating body pose information for a person in a physical environment. In various implementations, a device includes an environmental sensor, a non-transitory memory and one or more processors coupled with the environmental sensor and the non-transitory memory. In some implementations, a method includes obtaining, via the environmental sensor, spatial data corresponding to a physical environment. The physical environment includes a person and a fixed spatial point. The method includes identifying a portion of the spatial data that corresponds to a body portion of the person. In some implementations, the method includes determining a position of the body portion relative to the fixed spatial point based on the portion of the spatial data. • Publication number: 20190371072
Abstract: Some implementations involve, on a computing device having a processor, a memory, and an image sensor, obtaining an image of a physical environment using the image sensor. Various implementations detect a depiction of a physical environment object in the image, and determine a 3D location of the object in a 3D space based on the depiction of the object in the image and a 3D model of the physical environment object. Various implementations determine an occlusion based on the 3D location of the object and a 3D location of a virtual object in the 3D space. A CGR experience is then displayed based on the occlusion, where at least a portion of the object or the virtual object is occluded by the other.
