  • Publication number: 20220230285
Abstract: A vessel image, which maps a vessel structure, and a device image, which maps a device, are created. A processor, depending on the device image and the vessel image, creates an overlaying image. At least one filter algorithm is applied to the device image, creating a filtered device image. The overlaying image is created by overlaying of the vessel image with the filtered device image.

  • Patent number: 11331065
Abstract: A method is provided for operating a medical X-ray device when carrying out an X-ray examination. In order to reduce the duration of the scan for the reliable determination of changes over time in a body region of an examination subject by an X-ray based subtraction method, the method includes recording a plurality of first X-ray images of a body region of an examination subject, wherein the recording of the plurality of first X-ray images ensues at a constant X-ray imaging frequency and a constant X-ray dose for each X-ray image recording.

  • Patent number: 11207029
Abstract: Embodiments provide a method for denoising time series images of a moved structure for a medical device. A movement detector detects the moved structure. The movement detector obtains a measurement of the similarity of two images that each represent the same section of the moved structure. The two images originate from two different time series images. A ratio between spatial and temporal denoising is defined for the section as a function of the measurement of the similarity.

  • Patent number: 11096759
Abstract: Operating a medical image recording device in the context of an image recording routine for a patient is provided. The image recording routine serves an image recording purpose. The image recording device is controlled based on operating parameters implemented by a controller of the image recording device. The operating parameters are identified completely automatically by an identification algorithm from input data describing at least the patient in the form of a patient model and/or the image recording purpose, and from a registration of the patient with a coordinates system of the image recording device. The operating parameters are used to control the image recording device. An examination region that is to be recorded for the patient and the image recording purpose are derived based on the registration.

  • Patent number: 11004184
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and an imaging device for generating a new roadmap image of a target object. For the method, a first subtraction image is generated from a first mask image and a contrast agent image of the target object. A parameter value of a parameter of the imaging device that affects the acquisition of images by the device is then changed. A third mask image of the target object is acquired automatically by the imaging device using the changed parameter value. From a second examination image subsequently acquired using the changed parameter value, a third subtraction image is generated by subtraction of the third mask image. The new roadmap image is generated using the first subtraction image and the third subtraction image.

  • Patent number: 9545234
Abstract: A method to optimally set a position of a form filter in an x-ray image recording apparatus is proposed. The x-ray image recording apparatus has an x-ray radiation source and an x-ray radiation detector. An x-ray image is firstly recorded in a first position of the form filter. A new position of the filter is then calculated and automatically set with the aid of the x-ray image. A new x-ray image is then recorded. With a minimal dose of a patient, the method enables low contrast images to be recorded for a minimal main dose of the patient, in particular in a sequence.

  • Patent number: 8355550
Abstract: A virtual map of vessels of interest in medical procedures, such as coronary angioplasty is created so that doses of contrasting agent given to a patient may be reduced. A position of a coronary guidewire is determined and locations of vessel boundaries are found. When the contrast agent has dissipated, virtual maps of the vessels are created as new images. The locations of the determined vessel boundaries are imported to a mapping system and an image obtained without using a contrast agent is modified based on the imported locations of vessel boundaries. This creates a virtual map of the vessels.
