  • Patent number: 7460063
Abstract: A space-borne interferometric radiometer for imaging a radiation emission from a target scene (ED), comprising a plurality of receiving elements arranged in a two- or three-dimensional array (REA), a first signal processor (SP1) for computing a two-dimensional set of samples of a visibility function by pair-wise cross-correlating signals received by the receiving elements; and second signal processor (SP2) for reconstructing an image from the samples of the visibility function. The radiometer is further characterized in that it has the ability for rotating the two- or three-dimensional array (REA) about a rotation axis (z) which is substantially directed toward the target scene (ED) and in that the second signal processor (SP2) is adapted for reconstructing the image from a plurality of two-dimensional sets of samples of the visibility function corresponding to different rotational positions of the rotating two- or three-dimensional array (REA) of receiving elements.

  • Patent number: 6843445
Abstract: The invention relates to a roll stand (1) for a continuous unrolling of several rolls (8, 8?) of reeled, web-like material, which are unrolled consecutively after each other in the roll stand, and which rolls are arranged to be changed by roll changing from an almost depleted roll (8?) to a new, full roll (8) in said roll stand, which roll stand comprises a machine stand (2) with two gable sides (3, 4), which are arranged aloof from each other, a horizontally arranged hub girder (9) which is rotatably journalled at the gable sides and around which hub girder the rolls are arranged to be pivoted between an inlet side (6), to which new, full rolls (8) are delivered, and an outlet side (7) from which the web-like material is unrolled, at least two roll holders (10, 10?) which are arranged at the hub girder for handling of each roll and which roll holders each comprises two roll holding arms (11) which are mounted linearly displaceable laterally along one or several, axially along the hub girder and rigidity moun

  • Patent number: 5775630
Abstract: The invention relates to a roll stand (1') comprising a frame (3') with a roll-holding device (71) for two unwinding stations (A', B'), which frame (3') comprises means (101, 102, 103) for joining, in a roll-changing operation, a material web, which is unwound from a roll (12, 12a) provided with a rotating spindle (171, 181), to a leading end, provided with adhesive, of a material web from another roll (12, 12a) which is similarly provided with a rotating spindle (171, 181), as well as means (108, 109) for cutting off the first-mentioned web and a mechanism for braking the spindles.
