  • Publication number: 20140055011
Abstract: A housing is provided for holding a flat screen, having a frame which defines a housing interior for holding the flat screen. The frame is produced from a flat profile element which has multiple set bending points which serve to establish the corner regions of the frame. On its inside, the frame has an inner channel into which a heat-dissipating element is inserted in such a way that it serves to transmit heat from the housing interior to the frame.

  • Patent number: 8590072
Abstract: The sanitary fitting has an outflow pipe and a mounting base. The outflow pipe is arranged galvanically isolated from the mounting base and serves as the electrode of a sensor device. The sensor device detects whether an object, for example a hand, is present in a sensor zone or not and thereupon generates a presence or an absence signal. An electronic control system controls, in accordance with the presence or absence signal, a valve device, which controls a water flow. The electronic control system can also actuate light sources which illuminate the mounting base and the nozzle region.

  • Patent number: 8157328
Abstract: A vehicle head restraint system for a vehicle seat has a support rod with a lateral portion. A head restraint is moveable relative to the lateral portion in a fore/aft direction. A first locking plate and a second locking plate are each moveably mounted to the head restraint to engage the support rod to lock the head restraint relative to the support rod. A rotary link is pivotally connected to the head restraint and interconnects the first and second locking plates. A biasing member is mounted to at least one of the first and second locking plates to bias the head restraint towards a retracted position. An actuator on the head restraint moves one of the first and second locking plates. The rotary link moves the other of the first and second locking plates for disengaging the first and second locking plates from the support rod.

  • Patent number: 7883144
Abstract: A vehicle seat is provided with a guide within a seat back frame for movement between extended and retracted positions. A biasing member within the seat back frame biases the guide toward the retracted position. A cable extends the guide toward the extended position. A rotary actuator extends and retracts the cable. A release mechanism secures the guide in the extended position. A rod extends from the frame and has a plurality of notches for providing a series of height adjustment positions. A locking member within the guide retains the rod at one of the series of height adjustment positions. A head restraint is mounted on the rod. Actuation of the release mechanism and the rotary actuator releases the guide to retract the head restraint. Return actuation of the rotary actuator returns the guide and the rod to the extended position.

  • Patent number: 7878596
Abstract: A head restraint system includes a vehicle seat comprising a seat back and a seat bottom. The system further includes a head restraint guide positioned in the seat back. The head restraint guide is adapted to hold a head restraint at a selectable position. The system further includes a first and second gear rack and a gear system adapted to contact the first and second gear racks and move said gears tracks in a relative linear manner. The first gear rack is attached to the head restraint guide while the second gear rack is fixed relative to the seat back. An actuator system drives the gear system such that positioning of the seat back in a folded position causes the head restraint guide and the head restraint positioned therein to be lowered.

  • Patent number: 7794095
Abstract: A sanitary fitting includes a light-permeable water-carrying outflow pipe that has (i) an exposed end face and (ii) an input face located upstream of the exposed end face. A light source, preferably including light emitting diodes (LED), inputs light into the outflow pipe through the input face. The light emerges from the outflow pipe at the end face, and may also emerge at an exposed outer peripheral surface area of the outflow pipe. The outflow pipe has a stationary first outflow pipe piece with the input face and a rotatable second outflow pipe piece with the exposed end face.
