Abstract: A method of documenting occurrence of an event in a computer system includes receiving first event information forwarded upon a first event occurring in execution of a first step in a transaction process. The first event information includes a first step key, a first step type, and first time-of-occurrence information. The method includes identifying, upon receiving the first event information, an anchor step type that previously has been assigned for use in documenting the first event. The anchor step type is associated with an anchor step in the transaction process. The method includes reading, using the anchor step type, an anchor key of the anchor step in an execution log for the transaction process. The execution log is identified using the first step key. The method includes associating the anchor key with the first time-of-occurrence information. A performance measure having start and end events may be evaluated.

Abstract: Processes for preparing conjugated linoleic acid are described wherein a conjugated linoleic acid lower alkyl ester is subjected to hydrolysis in the presence of an enzyme to form a hydrolyzate comprising a conjugated linoleic acid and a lower alkanol, wherein at least a portion of the lower alkanol is continuously removed; the hydrolyzate is separated into an organic phase and an aqueous/alcoholic phase; and the conjugated linoleic acid is separated from the organic phase.

Abstract: Processes for preparing conjugated linoleic acid triglycerides are described which comprise: (a) providing a conjugated linoleic acid alkyl ester, wherein the alkyl group is linear or branched and has from 1 to 5 carbon atoms; and (b) subjecting conjugated linoleic acid alkyl ester to transesterification with triacetin to provide a conjugated linoleic acid triglyceride.

Abstract: Navigating from an alert related to a state of a data object to a source of the alert includes displaying alerts in a portal environment. The portal environment has an analytical portal application associated with an analytical data store and a transaction portal application associated with a transaction data store. One of the alerts includes a transaction alert that is associated with a data object in the transaction data and another of the alerts includes an analytical alert that is associated with a data object. An indication of a transaction alert or an analytical alert is received from a user. When the indication is an indication of an analytical alert, navigation occurs to the analytical portal application. When the indication is an indication of the transaction alert, navigation occurs to the transaction portal application.

Abstract: Polysiloxanes of the general formula ##STR1## which contain at least one sulfatohexyl group linked by an Si--C bond are prepared wherein R.sup.1 is a methyl or phenyl group with the proviso that at least 90% of the R.sup.1 groups are methyl groups, R.sup.2 either is identical with R.sup.1 or is --(CH.sub.2).sub.6 --OSO.sub.3.sup.-.M.sup.+, M.sup.+ being an alkali, 1/2 alkaline earth or optionally an alkyl-substituted ammonium ion, R.sup.3 is identical with R.sup.1 or R.sup.2, with the proviso that at least one R.sup.2 or R.sup.3 group in the average molecule is a --(CH.sub.2).sub.6 --OSO3.sup.-.M.sup.+ group, "a"=0 to 5 and b=0 to 5. A method for the synthesis of these compounds and their use as hydrolysis-resistant surfactants is also described.
