  • Publication number: 20230261812
Abstract: A transmission method with slow link adaptation intended for an OMAMRC telecommunication system with M sources (s1 . . . , sM), optionally L relays and a destination, M?2, L?0. A number of uses of the channel is allocated to each source for transmission and this number is determined by the destination during slow link adaptation for each source based on statistical knowledge of all of the channels.

  • Patent number: 11418252
Abstract: A method for transmitting successive messages forming a frame in a telecommunication system with M sources (s1, . . . , sM), L relays and a destination, M>1, L?1 according to an orthogonal multiple-access scheme of the channel between the M sources and the L relays with a maximum number of M+Tmax time slots per transmitted frame including M slots and Tmax cooperative transmission slots. The method includes: a slow type link adaptation determining an initial rate for each source by destination based on an average SNR of each link and transmitting to each source the initial rate; and for each frame out of several, successively transmitting the messages of the M sources during the M slots phase with, respectively, modulation and coding schemes determined from the initial rates. The link adaptation maximizes the aggregate rate of all the sources subject to the constraint of a target average BLER ?com after Tmax?X?1 cooperative transmissions.

  • Patent number: 11411680
Abstract: A method for transmitting successive messages forming a frame, implemented by a telecommunications system with M sources (S1, . . . , SM), possibly L relays (R1, . . . , RL) and a destination, M?2, L?0. The method implements a HARQ mechanism and includes: transmitting, from the destination to the nodes (R1, R2, . . . , RL+M), a control message indicating its set (SD,t?1) of correctly decoded source messages; determining, by each node (R1, R2, . . . , RL+M), whether at least one message from its set of correctly decoded source messages does not belong to the set of source messages correctly decoded by the destination; and transmitting a binary indicator by a node (R1, R2, . . . , RL+M) to the destination indicating the result of the determination.

  • Patent number: 11368261
Abstract: A method for transmitting consecutive messages forming a frame for a telecommunication system. The system has M sources, optionally L relays, and a destination, M?2, L?0. An orthogonal multiple-access multiple-relay channel scheme is used between the M sources and the L relays with a maximum number of M+T max time intervals per transmitted frame, including M intervals allocated during a first phase to the consecutive transmission of the M sources and T used intervals for at least one cooperative transmission allocated during a second phase to at least one node selected according to a selection strategy. T used?Tmax. The link adaptation implemented by the destination is slow and maximizes average utility metrics under constraint of an average individual BLER for each source. The utility metrics include average spectral efficiency tied to the strategy for selecting the nodes intervening during the second phase.
