  • Publication number: 20250079752
Abstract: The invention relates to a grommet for an electrical connector, an electrical connector assembly, and a method for manufacturing such a connector assembly. The grommet comprises an elastically expandable tube section and a cap-shaped housing section. The tube section comprises a cable receptacle for passing through an electrical cable connected to the electrical connector. The housing section comprises a connector receptacle connected to the cable receptacle for receiving the electrical connector. The grommet forms a seal which surrounds an opening of the housing section facing away from the tube section. The invention is based on the object of configuring the grommet such that the manufacture of the connector assembly, in which the electrical connector is disposed at least in sections in the connector receptacle and the electrical cable is disposed at least in sections in the cable receptacle, can be largely automated.

  • Patent number: 12204006
Abstract: A gradient coil unit may include a hollow cylinder surrounding a cylinder axis, delimited perpendicularly to the cylinder axis by a first longitudinal end and a second longitudinal end opposing the first longitudinal end. The hollow cylinder may include a first hollow cylinder region and a second hollow cylinder region separated from the first hollow cylinder region by a sectional plane perpendicular to the cylinder axis. The first hollow cylinder region may be delimited by the first longitudinal end and the second hollow cylinder region by the second longitudinal end. The gradient coil unit may also include a conductor structure configured to generate magnetic field gradients in three mutually different directions. The gradient coil unit may have a length corresponding to a distance between the first longitudinal end and the second longitudinal end of at least 140 cm.

  • Publication number: 20240409465
Abstract: A method for preparing a carbonated mineral for use in cement is provided; wherein a mineral component with a (CaO+MgO)/SiO2 weight ratio of 1.2 to 5.0 is ground to a powder; mixed with water to form a paste; the paste is placed in a reactor in an atmosphere containing CO2; the paste is carbonated in the reactor; and the resulting material is dried to constant weight; or the mineral component is ground to a Blaine fineness between 3?000 cm2/g and 10?000 cm2/g to obtain a powder; during grinding a CO2 rich gas is injected so that the component carbonates; the powder is mixed with water at a weight ratio between 0.3 and 1.5 to obtain a paste, or pre-humidified by adding water at a weight ratio between 0.03 and 0.2; the resulting material is dried to constant weight at 60-85° C.; and the resulting material is deagglomerated and sieved.

  • Patent number: 11408080
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of cleaning pretreatment of ferrous components that have been joined by welding, in which residues from the welding operation are removed from the surface of the component and, in this way, subsequent wet-chemical conversion treatments are enabled so as to produce defect-free coatings. For cleaning pretreatment, the component is contacted with an aqueous sulfuric acid etchant which comprises amino alcohols, ethoxylates and/or propoxylates of fatty alcohols having 6 to 12 carbon atoms in the alcohol and iron ions, and is effective without the presence of fluorides. In a further aspect, the present invention encompasses an aqueous acidic etchant for cleaning pretreatment of ferrous components that have been joined by welding.
