  • Publication number: 20240349650
Abstract: A control system for controlling a pickup assembly attached to an agricultural harvester. The pickup assembly includes: a pickup drum with pickup tines operable to pick up crop from the ground for transport to a crop inlet of the harvester during active rotation of the pickup drum; and one or more drive systems operable to rotate the pickup drum in a pickup direction. The control system includes: a detector for detecting a foreign object in the picked-up crop; and one or more controllers configured to: receive a signal from the detector that is indicative of a foreign object in the picked-up crop; and in dependence on the received signal, control the one or more drive systems to: stop active rotation of the pickup drum; and resist rotation of the pickup drum in a direction opposing the pickup direction.

  • Patent number: 11443000
Abstract: A method may include receiving a search phrase including a first word. In response to receiving the search phrase, a database may be queried to retrieve an item description matching the search phrase. The first item description may match the search phrase by including a second word that matches the first word in the search phrase. A semantic role for the first word included in the search phrase may be determined based on a semantic role of the second word included in the item description. An analytics result associated with the search phrase may be generated based on the semantic role of first word included in the search phrase. Related systems and articles of manufacture, including computer program products, are also provided.

  • Patent number: 11429655
Abstract: A method may include determining whether a first item description matches at least a second item description stored in a database. If the first item description matches the second item description, an ontology of the database may be updated by storing, in the database, the first item description including a first association between the first item description and a first headword associated with the second item description. Alternatively, if the first item description does not match any item descriptions in the database, a second headword for the first item description may be determined based on user inputs. Moreover, the ontology of the database may be updated by storing, in the database, the first item description including a second association between the first item description and the second headword. Related systems and articles of manufacture, including computer program products, are also provided.

  • Patent number: 10872124
Abstract: A method may include receiving, at a search engine, a search phrase. The search engine may query a database in response to receiving the search phrase. The search engine may query the database to retrieve, from the database, one or more item descriptions matching the search phrase. The one or more item descriptions may include an item description based on a relevance score of the item description. The relevance score of the item description may correspond to a prominence score of each word in the item description that also appear in the search phrase. The search engine may generate a search result that includes items associated with the item descriptions retrieved from the database. Related systems and articles of manufacture, including computer program products, are also provided.

  • Patent number: 10860346
Abstract: A server receives a web-protocol request from a client that triggers a server-side operation in response to the request. Based on a result of the operation, the server identifies first text information to be returned to the client. A language associated with the client device is determined. A determination is made as to whether a resource file corresponding to the determined language is loaded in a volatile memory on the server. In a case where a resource file corresponding to the determined language is not loaded in the volatile memory, the resource file corresponding to the determined language is loaded from a non-volatile memory into the volatile memory on the server. Second text information which corresponds to the first text information to be returned to the client device is retrieved from the resource file in the volatile memory. The second text information is transmitted to the client.

  • Publication number: 20150121517
Abstract: A bundle-to-bundle authentication process is presented that provides a flexible authentication mechanism to application bundles for accessing the persistence bundle of a modular application and requesting security sensitive data from a database. The modular application comprises a plurality of bundles such as application bundles, connector bundles, persistence bundles, authentication bundles, and so on. During runtime of the modular application, the application bundles and the connector bundles may need access to security protected resources (sensitive data) stored in the database. To access these resources, the application bundles and the connector bundles should authenticate themselves with the persistence bundle. The persistence bundle provides the communication with the database.
