  • Patent number: 10775291
Abstract: Devices for determining the absorption capacity of a metal-based oxygen absorber, preferably in the form of a sachet, comprising: a detector for detecting an electromagnetic field while the metal-based oxygen absorber is placed therein or moved relative thereto, preferably in uniform manner; and an evaluation unit which, on the basis of the measurement signal detected by the detector, determines the absorption capacity of the metal-based oxygen absorber, wherein the device further comprises a position and/or orientation sensing device which detects a position and/or an orientation of the metal-based oxygen absorber relative to the electromagnetic field; and wherein the evaluation unit corrects the measurement signal on the basis of the detected position and/or orientation of the metal-based oxygen absorber. In addition, a method for determining the absorption capacity of a metal-based oxygen absorber is disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10468248
Abstract: In various embodiments, a method is provided. The method may include forming a buried electrically charged region at a predefined position in a first layer in such a way that the buried electrically charged region generates an electric field having a lateral inhomogeneous field distribution above the first layer, and forming a second layer above the first layer using the field distribution in such a way that a structure of the second layer correlates with the position of the buried electrically charged region.

  • Patent number: 10201395
Abstract: A sterile filter module/dialyzer packaging including a filter module, preferably a dialyzer, sterile-packaged in a primary packaging. The filter module having an essentially cylindrical central section and a filter module connection formed at the end of the central section. The primary packaging is a blister packaging with a plastic molded part as a lower section forming a receiving compartment for the filter module and a soft upper foil which, with the lower section, closes the receiving compartment for the filter module. The upper foil is fixed onto the lower section so as to be hermetically sealed and the filter module is fixed at least in sections by means of form fit.

  • Publication number: 20090311778
Abstract: A device for supplying cell culture modules with nutrients has an arrangement of channels, pumps and valves in or on a plate. The valves may be pinch valves operated by deforming an elastic cover over a solid body and the pump may be a pinch valve pump. The channels may be defined, at least in part, by the plate. The pumps, channels and valves may be located within the thickness of the plate and the cover. The device may be used to supply nutrients to cell culture modules according to a perfusion operation, a re-circulation operation and/or a combination of both. A pump may comprise a generally rigid solid body and a seal. The solid body may wholly or partially define an inlet channel, a plenum and an outlet channel. A port between the inlet channel and the plenum is covered by the seal. A surface of the plenum is deformable. Deforming the surface forces liquid in the plenum to push the seal to cover the inlet channel port and to flow through the outlet channel.
