  • Publication number: 20230068496
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to sensing an object using an inductive proximity sensor. In an embodiment, an apparatus includes a transmission coil having turns formed on a first circuit board and including a first primary winding having a first winding direction. The apparatus further includes a first sensor coil having turns formed on a second circuit board and including a second primary winding having a second winding direction and a second sensor coil having turns formed on a third circuit board and including a third primary winding having a third winding direction opposite to the second winding direction. The coils are spaced apart from one another in a common axial direction and at least one of the coils includes a compensation winding having at least one turn, where the compensation winding is arranged radially outside of, and has a winding direction opposite to, the same coil's primary winding.

  • Patent number: 8910740
Abstract: The invention relates to a road vehicle chassis comprising a front chassis, a rear chassis and flange means, wherein the front chassis and the rear chassis are connected together to form the road vehicle chassis by the interposition of the flange means and wherein the front chassis comprises front wheel suspension fastening means and the rear chassis comprises rear wheel suspension fastening means. In this case, the rear chassis is configured as a lightweight sandwich construction chassis, wherein the lightweight sandwich construction chassis comprises a plurality of sandwich plates, wherein the sandwich plates are configured as longitudinal members, crossmembers, a top chord and a bottom chord, wherein the sandwich plates are connected together such that the sandwich plates form a three-dimensional structure, wherein the three-dimensional structure is defined at the top by the top chord and at the bottom by the bottom chord, wherein adjacent sandwich plates are connected together.

  • Patent number: 7106052
Abstract: Inductive proximity switch has a first transmitting coil (S1) and a first receiving coil (E1) of a receiving coil arrangement. The transmitting coil (S1) transmits an exciting field inducing eddy currents in a metallic trip (1) brought into the vicinity of the proximity switch. The eddy currents generate a voltage-inducing eddy current field in the first coil (E1) of the receiving coil arrangement. The first coil E1 and a second coil (E2) of the receiving coil arrangement are disposed and connected so that the exciting field generates a differential voltage (3), in the receiving coil arrangement. A pair of compensating coils includes the second coil (E2) of the receiving coil arrangement and a compensating coil (S2) connected in series with the transmitting coil (S1), the pair of compensating coils being isolated from the eddy current field.
