  • Patent number: 10888403
Abstract: An interdental brush (1) comprises a body (4) with a handle (5) and a guide channel (7). Also provided is a connecting element (9), which connects a cleaning body (3) to an operating element (6). The connecting element (9) with the cleaning body (3) can be displaced in a reciprocating manner within the guide channel (7), by means of the operating element (6), between a retracted position, in which the cleaning body (3) is arranged within the guide channel (7), and an extended position, in which the cleaning body (3) projects out of the guide channel (7) at a distal end of the guide channel (7), as seen in relation to the handle (5). A flexible positioning element (2) is provided at the distal end of the guide channel (7). The positioning element (2) can be placed in an approximal space between two teeth such that the cleaning body (3), during displacement into the extended position, penetrates into the approximal space.

  • Patent number: 5342696
Abstract: A ceramic blank body (2) of a blank (1) is glued on the base (4) of a support (3) of aluminum, which support bears an anchoring part on the side facing away from the blank body (2). According to the invention, the anchoring part is designed as a conical pin (6) which is rotationally symmetrical about a support axis (5). It has a circular engagement groove (7). The base (4) is provided with a bore (8) parallel to the support axis (5). For working the blank, the pin (6) is introduced into a receiving opening (10) of a holding device (9) as far as the limit stop, which is produced by the conical circumferential surface of the pin (6) coming into contact with the analogously conical periphery of the receiving opening (10), and is secured by means of a ball (11) projecting into the engagement groove (7) under the action of an elastic ring (12). A securing pin (13) projects into the bore (8) of the base (4) in order to secure the blank (1) against turning.

  • Patent number: 5313740
Abstract: A moulding is contacted by two end pieces of a rotatable first holding part and is scanned by a disk. For the suppression of relatively large elastic deformations of the moulding by the pressure exerted by the disk, the moulding is also contacted by a second holding part which is located opposite the first holding part, extends into two tips and is mounted so as to be rotatable. For allowing an uninterrupted scanning, the disk is provided with a radial slot which, when the surroundings of the area contacted by the second holding part are scanned, receives said second holding part. The scanning device can be used for the direct copying of the moulding, rotations of the first holding part being transmitted via bevel gears and a shaft to a fastening bearing a blank and a rotating grinding disk of the same dimension as the disk being moved analogously to said disk.

  • Patent number: 5244933
Abstract: Curable compositions are described which contain a binder and a high propion of fillers having a mean grain size of <50 .mu.m. The filler proportion of the curable compositions is so high that they cannot be used for the intended purpose because of their high viscosity However, they can be liquefied by exposure to oscillation in the frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 MHz with an amplitude of 1 .mu.m to 5 mm so that they are workable and can be employed for the intended purpose.

  • Patent number: 5135393
Abstract: The apparatus has a copying mechanism (1), which is mounted in a support fork (2) and comprises a feeler (17) and a toolholder (20). The copying mechanism (1) is supported on a support fork (2), which is arranged swivellably and displaceably on a foundation body. With the copying mechanism (1) is associated a rocker (3), which carries a pattern station (4) and a fabricated part station (5). On the stations (4, 5) are synchronously and rotatably mounted a pattern (24) and a fabricated part (25). Due to the fact that with the pattern (24) and the fabricated part (25) are associated two movement axes, namely axis (26) and the rocker swivel axis (23), it is possible to sense patterns having a random three-dimensional shape and corresponding fabricated parts can be copied.
